Chicks getting bored??

My 3wk old chicks are in a 2x4ft brooder pen in my living room. They are starting to jump at each other. Are they getting bored and what do I do to occupy them for another 2wks???

I put a small perch for them to climb on in the brooder. Started out about 2" off the floor them slowly moved it higher. We also put a 6"x 10" piece of plywood on the floor of the brooder with a small amount of chick feed on it for them to scratch at.
