Chicks getting feathers

I am new to this. I bought 6 chicks. And 3 seem to be getting their wing and tail feathers faster they are all EEs. I was wondering if this is a common thing?

Yes, it is with chicks that may have been hatched over a 24 hour period and those just out of the egg are a day behind others by the time they are gathered up and shipped.

If you bought your chicks at a feed store, there might be a week in age difference, or even more. By one week of age, they have a good start on wings and are beginning to get tail feathers. The unfeathered wings only last a couple days before the tips show noticeable feathers.

Tht makes sence. They all have Wong fewthers but the 3 were ahead pretty good. They sure are pretty little things
