My brown leghorns have hatched, 4 total of 13 eggs. Some never pipped so I have tossed them. Now of the 4 that hatched 1 died a few hours later and I don't know why. 1 hatched with some of its insides hanging out and can't open it's eyes and there was blood
accompying it as well. I figure this poor baby won't make it and it's still in the bator hanging on while the other 2 chicks are doing fine in the brooder. My question is how long shall I give this poor chick in the bator? I know it has to be suffering and I don't know if I have the heart to cull it. Any suggestions?

i am sorry...there seems to be no other way other than to cull. You could take it out...place it under a heat lamp in the brooder and let it pass on under the warmth of the light...but other than that...im sorry. Im glad the other chicks are doing well tho
