chicks hatched!

    okay so i have two chickens that hatched yesterday say around 9 pm
    but theyre still not dry and can hardly walk
    how long before theyre ready to go in the brooder dry and everything?

    At least 24 hours before they're walking fairly good. But if they're the only 2 you've hatched, you can go ahead and put them in the brooder...as long as it's warmed up to the right temp and set up for them. They don't HAVE to stay in the incubator/hatcher until they're completely dry. You just don't want them to get chilled during the move.
