Chicks hatching 21 days on the dot as a pullet egg steals the show!

Set 11 eggs on march 11. 9 out of the 11 have made it so far and of the9 remaining 2 were pullet eggs. After the excitement built all day with my wife and children watching one chicken slowly break through a shell one of the pullett eggs stole the show. In a span of 20 minutes this little chicken exploded from its shell and is now chirping loudly and reigning havoc on the other eggs! She is a lively one and very healthy looking. Awesome event!

What are pullet eggs?

A pullet egg is an egg from a hen in her first year. Usually these eggs are deformed or as in this case small (almost half the size of the others). They tend to produce small chicks but this one looks same size and healthy!
