chicks in mail and heat question

The 2 hottest most humid days thusfar in the midwest and I have chicks in transit. From those of you in the steamy south, would you mind sharing your experience with how well they do? The breed is Niederrheiner coming from McMurrays.
I have nutridrench, save—chic electrolytes ready to go. They will brood for 2weeks in my cool basement with heat plate.
any advice or words to settle my heat & humidity concerns?

I’m actually kind of surprised they’re shipping right now. I know several breeders that have stopped until this weather breaks.
