Chicks in their NEW brooder, PIC HEAVY!

After living in a 5ft kiddie pool for the first month of their lives, we finally moved the chicks to the garage in their permanent brooder/grow out pen. We didn't expect it to be so large... but it sorta turned out that way. L0L. It's 4ft wide, 4ft tall and 8ft long. The chicks seem to be much more content with all the space! Enjoy the pictures.

Nice roomy brooder, Jeremy! I sure hope you have at least a couple pullets in those few Delaware chicks.

Nice large area for the chicks. I am sure they are much happier there (and you too!). Are you going to have access to the outside for them?

Are you ready for your next hatch then?

I'm getting another dozen + Delawares from Bill Braden that are suppose to be here around Thursday, they'll go into the incubator with the others.
