Chicks in with momma and daddy!

I have a showgirl hen that is setting on two eggs and I wanted to see if the chicks could be in with the momma and daddy. The daddy won't hurt them will he?

it depends. I have seen roosters help take care of chicks and then others attack.

How will I know what he'll do? Do I just go outside every so often and check on her to see if they are out and see what he'll do.
He is a silkie showgirl and they are pretty dosile right?

i have 2 sets of chickie babies, in different pens they are both in with mom & dad, one set are silkies, the others are rhode island red, no problems at all
