I have a Wyandotte that can't help herself. We joke and say that the sun makes her boneless. She'll be walking through the shade just fine, then BAM, as soon as the sun hits her she's all sprawled out.

Hehe I freaked when I first saw our birds do this. But yeah, typically this is how they catch rays. (Often accompanied by a sun drunk expression on their faces). This is my second set of chicks. When I let them outside, they wind up laying against the side of the pen and stretching one wing out. It seems weird, is their skin irritated or something? They act fine, I just don't want them suffering. I appreciate any help.
