Chicks legs sticking straight out

2 week old Cornish cross chicks legs are sticking straight out and he is sitting on his butt. The chick doesn’t seem to be able to stand on his feet. If I stand him up he falls back on his butt. Anybody ever seen dealt with this?

What are you feeding? Cornish cross chicks grow so rapidly and are prone to leg problems because of it. I haven't personally raised them. Hopefully someone more familiar can help.

I think they need a meat bird ration which has a higher protein and is formulated for their rapid growth.

Did you ever get an answer. My newly hatched chicjk is doing the same exact thing, Sitting on butt, legs forward, falling over. I so want to help...
