I received 24 Light Brahma eggs by mail (from NC to WA). All eggs were intact & looked great. After not progressing we ended up with 13 that looked promising. Six of the chicks hatched out great, no problems. We finally opened the others to find all but one as fully formed chicks, feathered and looked ready to pip............but dead. We have successfully hatched several of our own RIR and Polish chicks, but I'm curious as to why chicks would come so far, then not hatch and just die in the shell. I'm fairly new to this and trying to learn all I can. I'm thrilled with my new little babies, but sad over the loss of the others. I have a still air Little Giant, temp is kept right around 99.5 and humidity about 30 or so until day 18, then raised to about 60. Thanks for any input.
