Chicks not drinking!

I just got these chicks this morning and they are REALLY sleepy (sometimes I have to tap them to make sure their not dead ). I have see them all eat but I haven't seen any of them drink water. They have water available and I've tried to lead them to it but they just don't want to drink anything. I'm worried that if they don't drink they will start to get sick. My other chicks that I got last year drank pretty much right away so this is why I'm so nervous.

Try to dunk the tip of their beaks gently in the water few times and see if they will drink. Normally when new hatched chicks were shipped, you have to teach them to drink water for the very first time.

Did you dip the tip of their beaks in the water? Careful not to dunk them though.

Ya I tried that and only one of them drank a little but the other ones aren't drinking

they are starting to drink!!! Not on their own yet but at least they have some water in them!
