Chicks not drying out

Yes, I also agree that 70% is too high. If it was just for the last few days of hatching it would not be too bad but if they were at 70% for the entire incubation I would expect a low hatch rate.

Good to know. Thanks! At what point do you call it some. There is only one other pip right now out of 10 eggs.

Day 22 is too soon to take out chicks, IMO
they will be fine for 3 days or so.
The first chick that hatched can only be left in there safely for another day, so be prepared to take it out as soon as there is no pips or zips going on. :)
