The girls are going outside today. Our lawn is really thick, and honestly where their run is, I wonder how many little stones they will be able to find for grit.
Should I put a dish of grit out there for them, until they have the grass all gone, and I can see if there is any stones or grit there?
    Thanks!

    When in doubt, provide grit.

Even though mine has small stones in around the yard I still throw grit in the run to them just to be on the safe side they love it I throw it in at night when they are all roosting and in the moring they come and scratch and then eat it so it's all good for me and them.
You may want to try that.
