hey,

I just received 7 chicks from Murray Mc Murray their 4 weeks old. Temps today were in the 70s with a low tonight of 50. Wondering if I need to have a heat lamp going tonight? There out in their own separate coop completely separated from the rest of the flock. I just put them inside of it because it started to rain, but I’ve got no heat in there and it’s pretty dark so I’m not 100% they’ll be able to see the food/water inside.

I am pretty sure they need a heat lamp until they are around 6 weeks.

If they have all their feathers they will be fine.

During the day is fine and lock them into the Coop at night. They will be okay..
