So I was wondering when the right time to put chicks outside... I've been reading all sorts of opinions .. I got 2 light bramahs and I live in North Carolina during the day they would be alright I'm just worried about night.. It gets down to mid 30s still.. Should I put a 250w heat lamp on at night? I just got them used to sleeping without light at night inside.. Oh also they are around 6 weeks old thanks in advance for any advise

Chicks can usually go outside around 4 or 5 weeks when they their adult feathers grow in. However, you should definitely use the heat lamp if the temperatures in the 30's at night.
    Good luck!
