CHICKS SHIPPED!! YAY

My chicks shipped yesterday from MPC. When I checked the tracking number this morning the only information was the arrival scan from the hatchery to their local post office at 7pm EST last night. I had the same thoughts-that they were just sitting in Cleveland....but my post office called me about an hour later to let me know my chicks were ready to pick up. I was shocked, that was only 12 hours later. Don't count on yours arriving today but don't be surprised if they do. They were packed extremely well and all happy, healthy, and alert upon arrival. I'm happy they got here today but they probably would have been fine even if they hadn't.

Most importantly, don't trust the tracking info. It isn't updated enough to be helpful.

I just checked the tracking info for my order that I picked up 4 hours ago and it is still showing "In Transit, Arrived At Post Office".

I have an order coming from MPC this week too! I also had to substitute a chick for a Golden cuckoo maran that didn't hatch. In my case, I substituted a Lavender orpington. I had wanted one when I placed my order, but they were sold out at the time. I've ordered from MPC twice before. Once they got here the next day, and once it took two days. Both times they arrived happy and healthy!

When Meyers said my Golden Cuckoo Maren didn't hatch, I was able to get one I wanted but wasn't available when I ordered either! I substituted for the Silver Laced Wyannadotte. . I'm very excited,i just pray they all make it! Tracking STILL haven't changed since 3:15 yesterday afternoon. I hope they are safe and warm. Poor babies

My tracking info says that they're due to arrive today at 3pm. It's 3:27 and I'm afraid to start any projects or run any errands in case I get the call. I know they're most likely fine, but won't be happy until they're here!

YAY! I'm so glad they are home and well! I just recieved an email saying mine have shipped...now my waiting game begins! And there wasn't a tracking number with the email.
