Chicks sleeping a lot suddenly

Sounds good! I like to keep chick grit available at all times once I start offering treats, it's necessary for digestion since they don't have teeth. They'll take what they need and they can't OD on it. They'll charge up their gizzards with it and then you can give them treats any time.

I wanted to update everyone. I think I was worrying over nothing. Heard a lot of peeping this morning ( one girl is louder than the others ) and they were all active and it looks like DH had turned the light off last night so maybe sunrise woke them. They were chowing down and looking at me for treats.

Confirmed with DH, he said they were noisy last night so he turned the light out in there and they got quiet. If only our 6 year old did the same at bedtime haha

Well, they are all up and active now. Thanks for the reassurances and advice, folks.
