My 10 week old hens go in and out of their coop all day, but won't go in by themselves at night. We have to put them in every night, even after dark...how do we train them?!?!?

Chickens have very poor night vision so if the coop is dark, they may be afraid to go in there. If you can hang a night light - even one of those little battery powered ones - in the coop and turn it on at night so they can see, they are more likely to go in. Once they have the hang of it, you shouldn't need the light any more, and they will learn to go in while it is still dusk and they can see to find the roost.
