Chicks won't go to sleep!

I noticed my chicks did that noise whenever they saw danger like a crow or kite or something.Since you chicks eyes are closed it must be something like a dream.(animals and birds can dream)

I think they just needed dad to go in and tell them “Go to bed and stop fooling around - or no more sleepovers!”

My peeps around 4 weeks old were playing until 11 pm. I turned the light off and they all freaked out. I’ll I heard was chirping loudly for about 5 minutes. So I turned the heat lamp on and boom they were playing around again. I put them in the box I got them in and kept the heat lamp on. I’ll check on them in a few minutes. Oh I have 10- 4 week old chicks and 2- 8 week olds. And a non laying hen who is not very nice.
