So, I did a chicken thing!!

The coop is ready. All necessary (and many other) supplies are bought, and we're chicken-ready. My babies show up in September. (BBS Orpingtons from Meyer).

Well, yesterday, the bantam bin at TSC finally got the best of me, lol. I brought home 4 of the cutest little things I've ever seen. They're doing fantastic and seem to be settling in wonderfully after their first night.

Obviously it's too early to know their genders, and for this newbie, their breeds. But I just wanted to share my very first babies with y'all anyway. Enjoy!

Thank you so much! My kiddos (who happened to not be with us when we bought these babies) were over the moon when we got home with them. They're a very welcome addition to the family!

When I texted my neighbor to show her my new babies, she texted me a picture of the turkey poults she got the same day at Rural King, lol.
