Chicky-poos are making silly noises

I have three, 7 week old dominique "pullets". One makes a freakish velociraptor-ish squack/squeek sound when i pick it up, or when i walk near the brooder...
Why?

Is this an attemped crow? Is my cassie a "cassinova"?

my rooster makes that noise in addition to his crow. none of my hen ever have. haven't figured out if he's putting them on alert or chewing me out, he only does it when i am not in their area but in his sight.

I agree with "gritsar". Sounds like you may have a Roo or a dominant pullet.

Hopefully. I really, really wanted all pullets this year...

I think she/he is a roo though.... Her/his waddle is bright red.
