Dimitri just gave her a dull stare. "So that's what you think about me? About my motherland?" He asked quietly.

Ashton looked to him I'm convinced with his acting ability. " Even corpses fart. So get over it. It natural and unavoidable. Part of a healthy gut." She said dismissively as she turned to continue on.

"Who else could it be? If that implies hateful sentiment, then she would be my first choice as to who's behind it." Dyrus explained his reasoning. He was so tense with anger that he fairly shook from the strain.

Alexis punched him lightly on the shoulder. "Dimitri, of course not," she admonished. "I was just jesting with ya."

"Well that was disgusting," Allen said, shaking his head as he resumed his hold around her shoulders.

Haley took both his hands in hers, crushing the rose a bit in the process as she turned to face him. "Think reasonably, please," she begged. "I don't want to go stir things up with her if we don't have to. Why would she think to target me, anyway?"

"I'm in no rush." Amaryllis assured gently. She smiled as he came out to meet her and moved from the doorway.

Laurel simply rolled her eyes at his comment and ran ahead to get the door for him.

Vasper smiled pleasantly and clasped his hands at his back after shutting and locking the door. "Thanks for thinking of me. It's nice to be considered in one's thoughts. " He said conversationally.

Layla looked down at him, she had a feeling that what she had said wasn't what he wanted to hear. "Your welcome. And don't worry you really will be fine, I will make sure of it." She said soothingly and then muttered under her breath, "No one will ever hurt you again." She was going to protect him, whatever he needed. She was set on this one thing, whether he knew it or not he now had a body guard.
(Now we get to see the weirdly possessive not so great social skilled side of her. lol )

Leverett nodded as he accepted Layla's assurances. " You are to kind to me. Thank you. " He said as he turned his gaze to Ryker as he walked into the room.

Ryker looked to Leverett surprised. "Good you're aware." He said as he set his mug down and came over.

Dyrus's expression changed suddenly at her question. It got more guarded. "I have my reasons. " He said with conviction.

Leverett nodded as he accepted Layla's assurances. " You are to kind to me. Thank you. " He said as he turned his gaze to Ryker as he walked into the room.

Ryker looked to Leverett surprised. "Good you're aware." He said as he set his mug down and came over.

Layla saw Ryker come over and she looked up at him but didn't move from her spot on the bed. If he wanted her to move he could tell her too, otherwise she was staying put. "He was in some pain earlier. " She said simply as she looked back down to Leverett.

lau Oh its ok, I made her to be a very complicated person. She has latched on to Leverett kind of like a life line, as her only friend he has a lot of value, almost more then Ryker in her mind. So yeah she might get weird, or I might tone her down we shall see. Its half the fun though right!? )

Ryker glanced to her and nodded. " Before I can give you anything, I have to ask a few questions first. Morphine tends to make you sleep. How are you feeling otherwise? Pain in your head? What year is it and what is your name? There wasn't any evidence of head trauma, but it doesn't rule it out as a possibility. " He explained gently.

Leverett shook his head slightly, "I'm feeling as good as to be expected in my condition. No pain in my head. It's 2017 and my name is Leverett. Now how bad is it? Will I ever walk again?" He asked the one question that was forefront in his mind.

Ryker smiled reassuringly as he did down play the severity of Leverett's injuries, "It's nothing that dire, Leverett. I don't like to put limitations on people. It serves no purpose. There's nothing more then a few broken bones. Some significant, while others fairly minor. But look at the bright side, no organ damage, no nerve damage that I can detect and definitely no brain damage. It's a very good thing you fell limp and landed on your side. Had you tried to stop your fall or landed on your back....well, you didn't. As well as your guardian angels watching out for you. Had I not been notified when I was and had Nova not kept you conscious and warm, you could have died of shock before I could have attended you." Ryker reached forward and rested his hand upon Leverett's good shoulder lightly. "You gave us all a scare kid."

Leverett let out a breath of pent up anxiety. He laughed happily at the good news and looked to Layla quite relived. "I'm thankful for everyone who helped me." He said with sincerity, before looking back to Ryker. " Expecially you." He said with a sob.

"Now, now, none of that. You'll get me going. " Ryker said good-naturedly as he squeezed his shoulder. "You want something to eat before I give you your pain medicine? You have to feed the healing." At his nod, Ryker stepped away to call up for a meal for both Layla and Leverett.

(Don't tone her down per personally one bit. I look forward to it. )
