Layla listened to Ryker as he walked Leverett through his injuries. She was glad that although he was going to be sitting out a lot of things for some time, he would make a full recovery. She had faith in Ryker's abilities and she would expect nothing else from the man. She let out a quite growl at the mention of Nova, but pushed it down not wanting to make a problem where there wasn't. She knew she couldn't be mad at the woman, she had been able to keep Leverett safe until help got there. But she was still mad at how she had ordered her to go get help while she went to stay with Leverett. Her logical mind told her it was nothing, it made the most sense, Nova had wings, she could get down to where Leverett was, but she still took offense.

When Ryker left to order them some food she quietly thanked him as she sat back down in her chair instead of the bed. She had a lot of weird emotions going around in her head and she wasn't sure how to deal with them. "I am glad you are going to be ok, well when you heal up I mean." She said quietly to Leverett hoping to get her mind off herself.

Nova was slow to wake, but when she did and had taken care of her morning ablations, she headed to check on Leverett. She didn't expect to see Anuerin anywhere, though it still made her sad that she didn't before she reached the labs. She walked in, looking around then knocking on the door to Laverett's room. "Hello?"

Layla stiffened in her chair when she heard Nova, of course it had to be her. Anybody else come down to see how Leverett was doing but it had to be her. She knew instantly it was going to be bad, she was in a weird place already, but she was trying to hold it together for the sake of Leverett and also because she didn't want Ryker to lock her up.

Layla saw Leveretts enthusiasm when Nova arrived and winced as if she had been slapped. She needed to get out of here now, like five minutes ago if she didn't want it to get ugly. She knew she wasn't in the right frame of mind to be here for her friend and she wanted to leave before she did something stupid.

She rose from her chair stiffly. "I need to go, I will see you later." She said to Leverett and she winced as she realized how it came off. The whole time her eyes were fixed on Nova and not in a good way.

"No problem." Amaryllis replied pleasantly. His statement surprised her, didn't he have friends?
