Dyrus sensed Haley's reluctance and let her hand go. Perhaps PGA was not her thing. Which was fine with him, less explaining and way less gossip.

Allen wagged his finger at her. "Avoidance of questions, i see," he accused teasingly.

"We're going to need an alibi," Haley said softly. She was partly joking, but as she said the words she realized how practical they really were. She didn't particularly want to give any more evidence to whoever was threatening her, if Dyrus was the reason for the rose.

Ioan hesitated for a moment to explain himself. "Despite how the letter is written, I'm convinced that Ryker hasn't changed from the man I know him to be. What if he's trying to gain my trust in the hope that he can you use it against me to reclaim the children?" He thought aloud, looking to Zaine for confirmation. "I would greatly appreciate if you listen for any talk among the students as you have offered."

Zaine shuddered at the thought, knowing himself to be included amongst "the children". If he was taken back, he wasn't sure whether he'd be able to go through it mentally again. "It would be my pleasure to assist you in any way," he said honestly.

"Stay here and look for Asa, yep" Zoe said teasingly then chuckled softly "I'll look around a bit and meet you at the main doors" She offered instead.

Zaine handed the letter back then turned to leave. "Get some rest, sir. It'll help ease your mind," he said gently. A sleep deprived Ioan wouldn't be much use to anyone.
