"Every man for himself, I say," Allen joked. He moved past her to poke around the cellar a bit before they went out. "So this is Ryker's secret stash, huh."

Haley turned pink in the face at his statement, but it was a happy blush. Happy to be here, happy to be his. "To town we go, then," she said softly.

"Do I?" Dimitri counted as he took the book and sat down with it.

"No, I don't think they are, I've never seen Ryker drink. I know the cooks use them in certain dishes and with dinner parties." Ashton stated thoughtfully.

"Ok, but first we have to go to the garage to get my car." Dyrus said with a chuckle at Haley's enthusiasm.

Amaryllis stiffened, surprised by the action at first, but immediately relaxed within his hold and accepted the affection contently.

Vasper almost pulled away when Amaryllis stiffened. What was he doing? He chastise himself. But as she relaxed to his kiss, he did as well. He hadn't realized how tense he'd been up until now. When they parted lips finally, he kept his hand aginst her cheek to encourage her to not look away look from him. "I'm sorry, Amaryllis. I just couldn't help myself. Your lips called to me. Are you mad I kissed you?" He asked quietly.

" Not a big fan of courtroom dramas I see. That references is when one lawyers abject to another. Then judge asks, " On what grounds counselor?" It just means, how do you know I'm lying and what's your proof?" Razeth explained as he stepped in and pressed the lab button.

Haley kept her gaze on his face, glancing to his eyes then lips. "Very well, then. We shall get your car," she said gently.

Ryker smiled and nodded as he headed out to go to his room.

Leverett smiled softly as Layla spoke so kindly of him. He could already feel the effects of the medicine as it coursed through his body numbing his pain. Which helped him focus on her words. "Your high praise for me is directed at the wrong person. Mon Cheri, you can't give all the credit to me. Layla it's you who is choosing to change and that is never easy. Just as it's you who has to do all the hard work, not I. You did good today. I don't know what's between Nova and youself. And don't think I'm asking what it is either. It's your business and that's between you and her. I just know, you made me proud on how well you helder it together with your anger. " He replied quietly.

Layla gave a tired sigh as her blue eyes looked up at his face as he told her how proud he was of her actions. She gave him a quiet almost shy thank you as a like pink flushed into her cheeks. She had never had such a ringing endorsement or have had someone with so much confidence in her before. She knew deep down he was right, but she still felt like he had a big part in it too, he had encouraged and guided her down the right path. "You noticed that did you? I was trying not to show it but I suppose my anger is pretty easy to see, I don't hide it well." She said with a bit of a chuckle as she rubbed the back of her neck. She had a long ways to go with her personal discovery, and today with Nova was the first step. She still wasn't fond of Nova, or most anyone else for that matter but she at least hadn't exploded and tried to rip her wings off.

Liam headed down the hall after gathering the dishes from Layla and Leverett. He had one more stop to make before going to the kitchens with the dirty plates. He had to pick up Eliana breakfast dishes first. He had his shock stick on his hip but he really didn't want to have to use it. He hoped as he neared her door that she remained in her good mood. As he approached the door he rapped lightly on it to let her know he was coming in. He unlocked and then opened the door a bit before looking in to see her reading a book contently on the bed. "I'm just here to get your tray Eliana, please play nice." He said as he watched her carefully before moving to get the tray.

Eliana watched Liam come in the room for her breakfast tray. She stiffened a bit but let him come and collect it before he backed back up to the door. She growled lightly at him and never broke eye contact but she let him leave without a scratch. Once he closed the door she went back to her book.

Amaryllis slowly broke away from the kiss when he did. "No, I'm not mad." She answered finally in a soft voice, with a smile of assurance. "We're not doing anything wrong, are we?" She then asked gently.
