Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Leah smiled, responding after a tiny bit of thought “Eleven. Now come on dragon. Let’s play.” She giggles at that, walking away so that they could have space to dribble and defend at the start.

William smiled at her giggle, he was happy she was opening up and enjoying herself a bit. He dribbled the ball a bit and ducked past her to try and make the ball into the hoop. Surprisingly he managed to get the ball in the hoop, he smiled and as the ball fell he tossed it to her since he made the first shot. "I honestly am surprised that worked."

"Well I appreciate you thinking that, coming from my first friend I will say that is a good thing." She gently squeezed his hand back and returned his gaze. "Do you need or want anything? Since you can't really get out of bed to get it I could get something for you, just ask." She wanted to to help him, it would make her feel better to be useful. And in truth she was a touch uncomfortable with his praise, especially since she still felt a bit of weight from guilt, even if it was fading.
"You're giving me exactly what I need, your companionship. I can't ask for anything more then that moment, mademoiselle." Leverett said honestly.
Adrian watched her unlock her door and grinned. "Well then we should see how creative you are indeed, now I am curious." He replied as he moved passed her once she opened the door and set his things down at the foot of her bed.
Willow watched him and smiled to herself. "You do know the old saying, " Curiosity killed the cat" right? So I try to stay clear of all things perplexing. But you, stud muffin, may be my exception to that statement. You draw me in regardless of caution. " She said with humor.

"Nope!" Allen chuckled at her antics. "I'm saying you're an ornery amphibian. I wouldn't know about your influence on dumpster dude because I've hardly had more than a few words with him."

Haley watched him intently as he talked. She preferred that in conversation, but realized it may make him feel uncomfortable so she turned her head to the window. "And why didn't you feel worthy of the name?"" She asked, looking at him briefly.

Alexis eyed Ares and the letter warily. She reached out for it only once it was in easy reach and brought it slowly down to her lap to unfold it, well aware of Mr. Jealous nearby.

Ares returned the glare with a lopsided grin. He didn't give a dang about the threats, and his grin pretty much said so.
"Oh? Well, just so we're cleareally on that. Besides, being ornery is always a bad thing. You could use a little yourself, if you ask me. Which you didn't, so that one is on the house." Ashton replied charmingly.

Dyrus shook his head with uncertainty and offered. "I'm not certain why I felt that, maybe because by then, I was in Ryker's care and had became quite a different animal, so to speak. Perhaps I was severing ties with who I once was, feeling ashamed for embracing my new self." He glanced to Haley and smiled sadly. That's why he hated sharing, it only brought up more and more questions, if not mixed emotions.

Dimitri finally turned his gaze to Alexis and felt betrayed by her behavior. Perhaps he'd miscalculated her interest in him. She didn't discouraged the male's attention and advances. That seemed to take a piece of his devotion for her away. Tasting a bitterness in his mouth, he pulled his eyes away from the spectacle that they presented him. He was suddenly feeling the fool.

Priam noted the claws and wisely took a small step to the side as he decided how to go about this. Gaze pinned on her, he flexed his eight fingers and pulled his sleeves down tight around his wrists. Ryker hadn't specified what he could and couldn't use with her, but he figured poison wasn't priority right now. Later, maybe, if she pinned him.
Irine studied his actions and twitched her nose at an acidic scent came from him as his movements stirred the air around him. Danger, her senses warned her. Like a mongoose fighting a king cobra, she kept her gaze fixed on her lethal opponent. She sharpened her gaze on his hands wondering if that was where the real threat was.

(She's only looking down the hall, not through a window. But if you still want to change the post you could say she's not on the right floor, and the room she'said waiting outside was Ryker's office eight years ago, when she last saw it, but he has changed its location since then?)
Amaryllis laughed in amusement of Gideon and stood eagerly to follow him.
(It's just that I thought she was on the ground level. Whatever, no biggie. )
Gideon almost offered out his hand to her, but thought better of it even though she looked frail as a delicate flower. His pace wasn't hurried and he made sure not to leave her behind, but at his side. "We can start our adventure in the library, if you like?" He questioned gently.

"Potentially charging me for something I didn't ask for?" Allen clicked his tongue. "That's bad customer service, you know," he said, shaking his head slowly.

"This place is so far from what we knew as life before, that wanting a new identity completely is understandable," Haley said gently.

Alexis glanced down at the note as she unfolded it, then back to Ares when she finished. She was frowning, considering the brief message, before stuffing the paper in her pocket out of sight of the teacher.

( ;) )
"That sounds great!" Amaryllis decided aloud. Following closely to Gideon she imagined what the library would be like.

"What are you?" Priam asked outright, his curiosity getting the better of him. He'd feel better knowing what he was up against before they got started. He moved slowly, circling her as he kept his gaze even with her own.
