Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

:)lau oh man he dun it now! )

Liam couldn't help but chuckle when he clearly irritated her by his comment. As he moved into the gym he watched her walk past him as she left the pool. He wondered if he had pushed her too far, if she would still want to talk to him later. He guessed he would find out at some point. He noticed Harper leaning against the wall watching two people spar. He nodded in her direction when she glanced his way, she nodded back with a quirk of her lips noticing Sam walking away. He shook his head and laughed, Harper knew him well and could tell he had pushed someone else buttons.
Samantha turned her head ever so slightly to glance at him as the door swung closed behind her. She was undecided on her opinion of him thus far, but she had checked off the not-outrageously-obnoxious box—for now—so that was good. He seemed decent enough. Swinging her boots over her shoulder, laces dancing to the sides, she stalked out with her thoughts. The cool air in the gym gave her goosebumps and she rubbed her arm absentmindedly with the damp towel in attempt to warm herself. She headed for her room to shower and change.

"I'm glad you approve. You won't be disappointed, I promise. " Gideon assured as he lead them to the room in question.
Amaryllis to Gideon a finally time, before they entered the library. She spun to look around the room in wonder. "I've never seen so many books!" She breathed excitedly.

Claire chuckled, responding with drawn out syllables “I already am crazy. At least half crazy. I can shoot cyandide out of my fingertips and have pink. Pretty sure that qualifies.” She responded to his actual question “I talk to people here and there. It’s hleping a bit.”
"Naw, I don't think they'll out right call you crazy if you say you can shoot cyanide out of your fingers. That qualifies a delusional diagnosis. " Eirik said with a smile. "Besides, I find the pink hair fitting to your personality. Don't ever let them change it." He said with exuberance. He pulled the mirror back in through the slot and put it away.

"Potentially charging me for something I didn't ask for?" Allen clicked his tongue. "That's bad customer service, you know," he said, shaking his head slowly.

"This place is so far from what we knew as life before, that wanting a new identity completely is understandable," Haley said gently.

Alexis glanced down at the note as she unfolded it, then back to Ares when she finished. She was frowning, considering the brief message, before stuffing the paper in her pocket out of sight of the teacher.
"Oh, is that right? I thought it was more like a free trial and if you're not completely satisfied, then you send back the unused portion. " Ashton pointed out the difference jokingly. She rummaged in the bag to get the water she'd put in there. She set on in front of Allen and took the other end forest herself.

"Thank you for understanding that. Most are too attached to their former identities. Well never be those individuals again. Even if we could somehow reverse the process. At least that's what I believe in my heart of hearts." Dyrus admitted as he found a parking spot at the store.

Dimitri watched the clock and counted down the minutes and seconds before he was free of this awkward situation.

"What are you?" Priam asked outright, his curiosity getting the better of him. He'd feel better knowing what he was up against before they got started. He moved slowly, circling her as he kept his gaze even with her own.
"I could askeep the same thing. You're toxic somehow. Are you a snake or other reptile....or .....a amphibian? " Irine countered elusively. Yeah, let's keep the focus on him.

Nova smiled at him and left the secret room then waited for him in the hallway.
Anuerin stood tall to see if Nova was still watching. When he was sure that she wasn't, he pulled out a stool from the desk and stood on it to help him reach the escape. He looked a little embarrassed with the idea that he needed the stool, but he had used his wings before, and now this was the only way for him to get out. He pulled himself out and secured the door.

"Well when you put it that way, it's all good. I've never been one to turn down a free trial, so." Allen chuckled. He took the water with a grateful smile, downed half of his, then set it down not too quietly. "Thanks."

Haley dipped her head slightly. "Of course," she said, smiling softly. "I do sometimes think about who I was, before, but the longer I think on it, the more I'm convinced there was nothing for me there. I mean, that's not to say I don't miss my fragment of a family. I do. But Ryker's doing something good when he takes kids out of lonely, sometimes abusive, situations."

Ares idly flipped his pencil between fingers as he waited while the teacher drawled on. He glanced back around the room, checking out the other classmates because it was a whole lot more interesting than whatever the teacher was talking about.

Alexis clenched her jaw as she watched the pencil, the movement catching her eye. Her mind wasn't on the teacher, either. She was trying to gauge lines and how far was too far. She'd never concerned herself with that before, but then, she'd never had another party to think about besides herself.

Priam chuckled, immediately figuring her intent out. "Ladies first," he said, with a sweep of his arm, moving slowly so she wouldn't perceive it as an attack. Which it wasn't. He sniffed the air again, making a big show of it. "Mammal, obviously. But besides the real obvious one, what lies beneath?" He raised an eyebrow at her as a smile tugged at his lips.
