Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Anne leaned back on her heels now to wait while the shot worked it's way through his system. That was the best she could do with what limited knowledge she knew of the situation. "Thanks for your help," she said, smiling gratefully at Casey. She nodded towards the water cooler at the end of the room. "If you want water, there you go. It's a bit stuffy in here."

Emily checked his office, the cafeteria, the nearest classrooms. No sign, and she was growing more frantic by the minute. She backed out of the darkened room her head had been in and turned, face to face with Ares. "Did you get him there?" She asked.

"Yeah, Casey and a nurse are with him," Ares said, falling into step beside her.

"Good." She nodded. "Hey, can you do me a favor? I've still got to find Ioan; if you would see if you can figure out who did this, that would be so, so helpful." She looked to him with pleading eyes.

A damsel in distress; how could he refuse her? Ares gave her a charming smile. "It'd be my pleasure." They parted ways, each on a separate mission to find out what happened to Dimitri—if that's who it was. Emily hadn't had time to check her name list yet to confirm there was only one tiger here.

Zaine walked Alexis to her room, leaving her with the promise that he would try to talk to Dimitri. She had ended the conversation pretty much in tears, and despite how much he generally disliked her, he had known this was what he needed to do.
Emily bustled around her own office, looking through files and lists. So many lists. She had been adamant about having those lists, though, in order to have an easy way to find names and creatures. It was a pretty nifty system, what she had, and she was extremely grateful for it now. She flipped through the shifter list, shuddering slightly as she was reminded of what kind of dangerous animals they had here. A zoo full of lethal animals. She didn't often let it cross her mind, trying to focus on the people they were rather than the clawed animals they could be, but this incident brought it all to the light. Too real and too close. She shuddered, the image of the massive tiger unconscious in the hall.
She ran her finger down a page, nodding to herself with satisfaction when she confirmed that the tiger was Dimitri. She then went to his file. Thin, like most of them. She was allowed too little information on the students. Just enough, really, to keep her job running smoothly and questions at bay. But she had so many questions; only, she felt like no one else had answers either.
Recalling the deep teeth marks at Dimitri's throat, she pulled out a notepad and went back to her list of creatures to write down all the felines and canines.

Iris humphed, pretending to pout “And I thought my powers were cool.”

Victor kept on running, not tiring even though they had run for miles. He was very fit, and while he wasn’t huge, he was strong and agile, so it wasn’t a problem for him to run long distances. He checked back for her, making sure she was there. He stopped after about thirty minutes, asking “so can carry you whenever you get tired?”
"Oh they are; only, Priam's would simply combat them." Atalanta chuckled st the thought.

Lucy, panting a good deal behind him, raising one hand to let him know it was all good even as she stood there gasping for breath. "Think I'm going to shift," she called, wondering as she said it why she hadn't done it earlier. She did so then scurried to catch up, feeling much freer.

Casey shook his head, continuing to watch the tiger "Not till I know he won't wake up in a rage." He replied to her offer.

"A walk then?" He asked pleasantly for confirmation. Anuerin didn't know if he had his father's permission to come and go as he wished, but right now he didn't care about what would happen afterwards. If he stayed here he would be taken to a darker place, and visiting Leverett would further that state if he was reminded of how Leverett had been another person he'd shut out.
Nova nodded and smiled then dared to reach over and touch his arm "You shouldn't worry, so long as you don't leave me. I was assigned to watch over you before, so if we get questioned we can say it was an extension of that, alright?" She just wanted him to relax a little and not be afraid to be here.

" Ouch, now that hurt. The one's I killed were people like me. All victims in a machine of money and corruption. One that crushes or ruins you. I didn't enjoy it. I'm just a survivor. It was me or them..... I just insured it was always me who came out alive." Eirik sighed darkly and sat back away from the slot.
Claire felt a pang in her heart for him. She responded in a soft voice “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it like that.”

Casey shook his head, continuing to watch the tiger "Not till I know he won't wake up in a rage." He replied to her offer.
"Suit yourself," Anne said, with a shrug. She sunk down into the nearest chair to watch the tiger as well. She hadn't seen many of the students actually in their other forms, and she probably wouldn't have even believed Ioan until that one coon shifted in front of her. The whole thing was weird. Like, really, really weird. But having one student sprawled out as an unconscious cat and another looking like any normal boy right before her, she felt a little bit more courage and curiosity. "So, how'd this happen exactly? Like, why come it's a tiger, not a human right now? Do'y have to be conscious to change?" Shift, whatever it was technically called.
