Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

" Yes, I am too. But I think the thing that ultimately saved Irine further complications, was that she had passed out early. Which slowed down heart rate, thus slowing the spread of the venom through her system, by keeping it more localized to her hand. The rest is a lucky break and a win for the living. " Alastor stated with utmost sincerity.

Harper nodded, everything he said made sense in her mind. Although she was curious about one thing. "Alastor, if Amaryllis blood can do this, heal this then how come we haven't given any to Leverett after his fall?" She asked quietly in hopes that Leverett couldn't over hear. She didn't know why this was the case, but she didn't want to get his hopes up if there was a reason he couldn't utilize this. She felt bad for him, laying in the bed in clear pain.

Leah stopped crying soon after she had started, but stayed close to him. She felt safe, calm, relaxed, around him. Like he was an actual dragon there to protect her from the outside world. She enjoyed that thought, and dwelled on it, quietly appreciating his presence. She laid her face against his chest, softly saying “Thank you William.” before kissing his chest quickly.

William smiled down at her as she calmed, when she kissed his chest he chuckled a bit as it tickled his skin. "Your welcome." He said quietly as he hugged her once more to his chest before he released her. He waded backwards deeper into the water and then laid back and floated on his back looking up at the clear skies. He needed to process what he had done and how she had reacted for a bit.

Casey nodded and looked to Amara then frowned and looked down at himself "Um, it's not touch contagious is it?" He had carried the guy after all, then had Amara hug him. It better not spread by touch or they both would have it.
(lol, I had to.)

Amara was a bit worried and upset that Dimitri had been moved. She really had wanted to actually see him, however knowing he was alive made her feel a little better, even if it meant she couldn't see him herself. She looked up at Casey when he asked if it could be spread through touch. She hadn't thought of that, it would mean that her and Casey were now at risk of having whatever Dimitri had. "If we had it though wouldn't we have a fever and be feeling ill like he was?" She asked curiously.
"I think Dr. Young said it is spread by the saliva," Anne said. She squinted an eye, pausing to recall what he had said exactly. "So unless he licked or bit you, you should be in the clear. But if you start feeling sick at all, then please come here immediately."

Leah looked at him float, letting him go. She, on the other hand, waded out of the water to curl up on the warm sand. It was a habit she had acquired after her fox DNA, and she did so to relax, her tail laying out to dry before he wasn’t ready to talk again.

Victor offered “We could alternate days, and give each other notes. How does that sound?” He looked at her, then realized they should be heading in.
(working my way through posts in between other things :hmm thanks for bumping)
"Huh?" It took Lucy a moment to realize what he was saying. She had lost herself in her thoughts, even for the split second. "Oh. Um, Yeah, I guess. But I didn't say I was going to skip classes. At least, not a whole day's worth. Probably not."

Zaine nodded his agreement. Occasionally he read historical fiction, if only to remind him that even reading and writing couldn't keep reality out. "I've met a few people, but not many that I would call friends." He shrugged lightly. He had only himself to blame there, much as he hated to admit it. "You? Have a decent roommate?"

Sam flashed the woman a smile, showing off her fangs for all their benefit. Liam was nervous as heck and she sensed it, and his nervousness just fed her determination to drag this out and make him as uncomfortable as possible. "Pleasure to meet ya," she said, daintily waving a hand in greeting. She stayed put near the door, sensing Eliana's fear and not wanting to startle her—yet. "Is Liam here treating you nicely?" She asked, giving what could almost be deemed a pleasant smile as she tried small talk.

Lyra smiled, he seemed more like her then she thought. "I don't have a room mate, I don't know if that will stay the same as time goes on. But for now my room is pleasantly quiet. As for friends, no I don't have any of those. I tend to get so caught up in my own head that I don't meet new people. " She replied tucking a strand of her loose hair behind her ear. Perhaps she would meet more people like her and make some friends soon, or perhaps this Zaine could be a potential friend with time.

Liam rolled his eyes but let Sam handle things the way she wanted to. He hoped Alastor would get back soon, Eliana behaved better for that man as weird as that was.

Eliana looked at this new woman, Sam as she was asked questions. "He is more hesitant to use the shock stick then some others." She said through gritted teeth. She brought the cracked mug up to her lips to busy herself with her tea, it meant she didn't have to talk. Alastor had told her that she needed to behave if she wanted more freedom. She had said she would try and she intended to at least try. What did this woman want, why the heck couldn't she be left alone.

Victor sighed softly “Isn’t she a good girl? Always going to class.” before shifting and flying up into his room. He then re-shifted and looked down at her.

Shoving his hands in his pockets, Zaine chuckled lightly. What she said was very understandable. "Have you been going to the classes?" He asked, trying to keep the conversation going, since she didn't seem in a hurry to get somewhere. "I know multiple people have skipped them, but they're fairly interesting."

Samantha looked Liam's way. "He is, huh." The corners of her eyes wrinkled slightly, showing amusement she wasn't going to voice. He looked dreadfully bored already. "And why would there be need of a shock stick in the first place? Are you a naughty girl?" Folding her arms, she took slow, measured steps toward a table and leaned against it, barely containing her smug look as she glanced from Liam to Eliana.

Victor sighed softly “Isn’t she a good girl? Always going to class.” before shifting and flying up into his room. He then re-shifted and looked down at her.
Lucy rolled her eyes now, scoffed under her breath before shifting and beginning the climb. She took her sweet time, delaying entering the school. The tree smelled good and she paused occasionally to just sniff at the bark.
