Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Ryker frowned because he didn't understand what she ment by that. " I was under the impression she was feeling better. Was that all a lie? " He asked gently.
Amaryllis became silent as she looked to Ryker, confused by his question. "No. I had felt very strong until last night, when Vasper brought me to you. I became weak very suddenly but was strengthened by the water. I haven't felt weak again until right after my blood was drawn." She explained carefully, hoping he would understand her this time.

Lucy rolled her eyes now, scoffed under her breath before shifting and beginning the climb. She took her sweet time, delaying entering the school. The tree smelled good and she paused occasionally to just sniff at the bark.
Victor rolled his eyes back at her. With a devious thought sprouting in his head, he closed the window and gave her a little smile before spinning as if he was about to walk away.

(No worries, I like that he can show a bit of his personality more. :) )
" Extra Crunchy is good. I do like kettle chips." Vasper teased further. He then headed for the door as he said, " I was thinking of getting something to eat......something that isn't long pork. Care to join me? "

Willow snaked her arms up around Adrian's neck and speared her fingers through the hair at the nape of his neck, using just enough of her blunted nails to add to the sensation. "You kiss like sin, but taste like heaven. " She purred as she pulled out of reach of his lips. She looked up to him panting with passion filled eyes. She contented herself with licking any cherry juice for her lips.

Madison snickered as she made it down the hallway and heard Saskia's belly aching. When she slipped the lock picks into the door and worked her finesse. She was rewarded with a soft click as the lock disengage. She opened the door and said with amusement, " Somebody's wailing like a wildebeest in heat. You really shouldn't do that, it only draws the lions."

(Glad to be of help then. )
Layla chuckled and pulled her claws back into her fingers. " I never understood the cult following chips got. Perhaps I just need to give them another shot. And yes I am starving and would like to join you." She said with a smile flashing her sharper canines. Although she knew they were nothing likes his teeth could be if he was capable of eating limbs.

Adrian groaned against her lips as she ran her fingers along his scalp. He heard her comment as she pulled away but was too distracted watching her lick her lips. He pulled himself together with a grunt as he cleared his throat and stood to work on the sauce for the pizza. "I could say the same for you. You keep distracting me and this pizza will never get done." he chuckled as he pulled out what he needed and starting mixing the sauce together in a pot. He also had a few pans going cooking the meats for the pizza.

Saskia heard the scratching in the lock that told her someone had finally heard her. She stood up and cocked her head looking at the door with her hand on her hip. When the door swung open and Madison was on the other side she gave her savior a grin as she walked over. "For your information I do not wail. And even if I was I am quite happy with the lion it drew in. Lets blow this joint if I have to stare at the same four walls any longer I am going to rip my own hair out." She said as she walked passed Madison and out into the hall.

(I have not seen a whole lot on Madison so I have to get a feel for her and Saskia, so bear with me a bit if it seems odd. :oops: )

"I think Dr. Young said it is spread by the saliva," Anne said. She squinted an eye, pausing to recall what he had said exactly. "So unless he licked or bit you, you should be in the clear. But if you start feeling sick at all, then please come here immediately."
Casey took a breath then nodded "Good, maybe we should both go shower just in case, but I feel fine." He said and looked to Amara then back to Anne

Leah looked at him float, letting him go. She, on the other hand, waded out of the water to curl up on the warm sand. It was a habit she had acquired after her fox DNA, and she did so to relax, her tail laying out to dry before he wasn’t ready to talk again.

William floated in the warm water for a while before turning over and swimming to the shore. He saw her curled up on the sand and smiled. He noticed her tail and looked at her curiously, he wasn't aware she also had a tail and not just the ears. He walked up to her and laid down on the warm sand next to her bringing his arms up behind his head. "So, I promised you the whole day what would you like to do after the beach?" He asked as he turned his head to look at her as he spoke.

(Lol sorry about not mentioning the tail earlier) She turned to face him, thinking for a bit, before responding “I don’t know. I...don’t do much. You would know more than I would.” She giggled a bit shyly, embarrassed she didn’t know more. But she did want to spend the day with him more, so she could get to know him better and hopefully get closer to him. Because even though it might not have looked like it, she truly wanted to spend time with another person. She inwardly reminded herself not to press too hard, as everyone needed their own space.

Shoving his hands in his pockets, Zaine chuckled lightly. What she said was very understandable. "Have you been going to the classes?" He asked, trying to keep the conversation going, since she didn't seem in a hurry to get somewhere. "I know multiple people have skipped them, but they're fairly interesting."

Samantha looked Liam's way. "He is, huh." The corners of her eyes wrinkled slightly, showing amusement she wasn't going to voice. He looked dreadfully bored already. "And why would there be need of a shock stick in the first place? Are you a naughty girl?" Folding her arms, she took slow, measured steps toward a table and leaned against it, barely containing her smug look as she glanced from Liam to Eliana.

" Well I go to the classes when I remember too." She said with a laugh. " I sometimes get caught up in things and miss them. But I do try to go, I get the chance to learn things I missed out on. Art and creative writing are my favorites for obvious reasons." Lyra added as she opened her shoulder bag to show him it was filled with art pads as well as text books for the classes.

"I wouldn't need to use it at all if she didn't try to eat me every chance she gets." Liam grumbled under his breath from where he stood against the wall.

Eliana eyes followed Sam as she moved the a table and leaned against it. " Maybe because I am locked in a cage and when they come to get me I get poked and prodded and then shoved back in a cage!" She snarled as she set her mug down and stood. Her claws slid out as her anger and anxiety increased. What was with this line of questioning? Was this some sort of test or just a sick game for them.

( :lol: copying and pasting to notes for easier replying on the go. Copying and pasting back makes the letters big :confused: )

"Your friend was there, obviously struggling under her weight of books, so I simply stopped to help," Ares said. He crossed his arms as he stared back at her. "And what do you know of Dimitri? Are
you the one who attacked him?"

Priam glanced back st the Frenchman. Noted the hand, the tension within that was showing itself in a tight fist. He hesitated a moment before asking quietly, "You okay?"
• • •
"Yeah, so I'll take a partial here, a partial there, eventually I'll have a whole," Allen argued. "See, I wasn't saying a partial was a half. I was just asking for a partial since i gave you a partial. But now I've given you a partial and you've given me nothing, so fess up before I eat this whole bag."

"So now walking down an aisle, lingering over candles—that we are buying, by the way—is considered a public indecency?" Haley raised an eyebrow, skeptical of his logic. She shook her head slowly, pretending to be ignorant of his meaning. "Anyway, Amaryllis could post bail. She'd do it and wouldn't say anything to Vasper, if you begged hard enough." Slowing as he neared, she turned on her heel to look up at him, a smile playing at her lips. She lowered her voice. "Darling, if a little walk through a store tipped you as far as you sound like you've fallen, then we really ought to come here more often."
"Dimitri is my friend. Has been from the first day. Who ever attacked him, had to be a heck of a lot larger then me to over power that big of a tiger. Not a measly little cheetah. What by chance are you? Pretty convenient you're the one to find him like that." Andorra said with conviction.

Startled from his thoughts, Leverett opened his eyes to look into. Priam's direction. "Oh, yeah. I'm just needing a dose of pain medicine. It's starting to wear off. But their still busy, so I was grunting through it. " He explained quietly. Yeah, it was a half truth. Yes the medicine was wearing off, but the pain wasn't that bad yet.
~~~
Ashton straightened and closed her fist around the trail mix in her palm. "Ok, so be it. One partial truth. I let you out." She said as she met his gaze and popped the small amount of mix into her mouth. She chewed with relish as she savored the flavors.
Dyrus look to Haley as she played at being obtuse. He knew better and called her on a small miscalculation. " There is a flaw in that plan, for Amaryllis doesn't know how to drive a car. And since it has escaped your attention, we are quite a distance from the mansion. So who do you think will be driving her? As for your second statement, I believe you know that was far from a little walk, Haley." Dyrus looked to Haley to continue without the careful care he used to conceal his fangs when he spoke. " I think you like the danger.....that my animal is a wolverine......don't you? Yeah, I know you do. Because if you wanted passive, you'd still be with Anuerin, not here with me."
"Well, think what you like, measly cheetah, but measly leopard here ain't gonna do much better against that hunk of a tiger," Ares said, chuckling softly as he crossed his arms.
"Is there something I could grab for you?" Priam said, looking around the room. Leverett was playing down the pain, which wasn't going to lessen any as the medicine wore off.
• • •
Allen threw up his free hand, palm exposed as he huffed slightly. "I knew that, Missy. So that's really not fair. No more trail mix for you." He swallowed another handful before zipping the bag up with slow and exaggerated movements.
Haley bit her lip nearly to the point of drawing blood as she listened to him, watched him. Maybe Amaryllis couldn't drive, but that was besides the point—right? She was joking, as she hoped he had been. Nonetheless, he was figuring her out little by little, and that had the opposite effect on her she'd thought she would have had. She tipped her head up to meet his gaze. "Dyrus, I thought I wanted passive. For a long time. It wasn't doing me any harm, where with obstinate others, cell and lab times were upped and they have scarred memories to show for it." She gritted her teeth, ignoring his own barely concealed canines as she continued. "I made it here nearly eleven years by being passive. It was barely living, maybe, but I wasn't dying like some. Then, when it came to it, I thought I wanted Anuerin. It seemed safe. Easy. There are advantages to being with the son of Ryker, you would think." She shook her head as she drew back. "If I really wanted passive, I should have ended my life years ago. You can't escape danger, not in this lifestyle at least. So why not embrace it with someone you actually want and care about, and returns those sentiments."
Sam didn't flinch. She merely continued her staring and calculations, keeping Liam in sight as well in case Eliana went haywire. "You know why you're locked in a cage, right?" She said, raising her brow at the woman. "It's like a cycle. Isn't it, Liam. Naughty, cage, cage makes more naughty, more naughty makes more cage. But even cycles can be broken, Eliana. I'm not in a cage, nor am I cuffed or locked in a lab with a mug of tea to pacify me—which isn't doing much, by the looks of it." Dropping her hands to her sides, she moved to the front of the table, nearer the woman. "Do you know how to break it?" She said, lowing her voice to a murmur.
