Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"I know nothing of you. I speak of Razeth. He has fought Ryker for a very long time. He seems much improved in his outlook of his future. I say this, because he didn't attack me with the intention of ripping out my throat. " Madison stated matter-of-factly.

(?)
Dimitri sighed softly and stepped back and squeezed Ioan's shoulder. "Hang in there. You're our only hope. Without you we all die of lead poisoning." He said with dry humor.

(?)

"Well, uh, I chose that word because that's what I used to write to my brother when we were in school. Majority of the time, it'd make him smile. Or curse." Alexis wrinkled up her nose in thought. "Either way, his I-don't-want-to-do-school bad mood changed. And Dimitri was obviously in a grumpy mood, so I simply scribbled the note," she explained, throwing up her hands. "But obviously, his reaction was quite different then I'd expected."

"There is nothing about that tiger that is ordinary. We'll just have to see that he's in better spirits tomorrow. That is, if he makes survives today." Andorra said thoughtfully as they walked along. .

"He's tough, he'll survive," Alexis stated.

Zaine wandered aimlessly around the hallways. It was nearly time for his next class, which he had decided to skip, and as for the class after, he'd probably skip that one as well. As homely as the school was in comparison to the labs, it wasn't enough. He had been on edge all day, and except for the brief conversation he had exchanged with a specific classmate, the day had been awful.

Lucy hissed and whispered with scorn "At least you still look human!"
"Snake comes out, cat goes bye," Allen muttered. He rolled over, facing the wall, and shut his eyes. He wasn't planning on sleeping. But a few minutes to himself would be nice, and this was the closest to by himself he could get.

Aneurin didn't seem too concerned with her running off, so Haley stayed behind the siblings. She glanced around them, taking in their surroundings. She didn't recognize anything, but that was no surprise, having been confined to the building of the labs for who knows how long.
Aneurin waited patiently until Amaryllis caught up with him before looking back to see Haley. He then continueD to wait for her before moving ahead.

"I can't imagine, what it was like for him." Laurel looked away as she spoke softly. Her words were sincere as she imagined what it would have been like for her, having a family who loved her, and then being suddenly parted from them, forever. Tears threatened to fall at the thought of a loving family, one who protected her and kept her safe all her childhood, the opposite of all her family had done to her. She longed for a family, as would anyone else who had deprived of one would. Laurel lifted her head a little higher as she walked and took a deep breath to keep herself from crying, nearly angry at herself. When had she become so emotional? She shivered at the thought of what her father would have done to her if she had showed him any emotion.

Ioan just sighed at Dimitri's attempt at a joke. "I doubt that to be true." He said reasonably.

( They are to abducted a general that was key to the taking down of Ryker's previous labs.)
The large man chuckled and shook his head as he looked to Leverett. "Good luck with this one." He then walked away.

Leverett frowned at Aralyn. "You don't know me to make such assumptions. I assure you, I'm well trained and fully capable. " He said with annoyance, before turning to take his seat again.

"I doubt that." Aralyn stated defiantly. "Ryker only chooses me for a mission when their is no one he trusts more with it. If their is mission that Ryker cannot, under any circumstances, fail I will be called. So by choosing me Ryker must have doubts in your skill, and I must agree with him after having met you." She looked at the time, eager for the excitement of the mission to begin.

Haley caught up to the two and went around to Aneurin's side. She was brimming with questions by now, and she wanted some of them answered before proceeding on this anonymous mission. "Sir, where are we going?" She asked in a whisper.
