Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"Well in that case, i'll leave you to it," Alexis replied. She flipped her history book open to where she had bookmarked a section earlier and began reading over it.
--------
Zaine followed, closing the door behind them.

(Dun dun dun dunnnn)

Andorra smiled at that and looked up to say something. But saw Alexis was reading, so went back to her problem.
~~~
"This place smells funny." Dimitri said quietly.
Alexis finished that section in no time, then took out a notebook to take notes (because duh, what else do you do with notebooks
)
------
That was an obvious fact that Dimitri didn't need to tell him for him to know. "Just a little bit," Zaine agreed, wrinkling up his nose at the strange smell. "If this is the library, then apparently no one thinks it worth their time to visit," he then stated as he noted the extreme lack of people.
Andorra frowned at the word problem. They were her lest favorite. She groaned as he read the paragraph again to try to figure out how to even go about solving it.
~~~
"Well, maybe like us, they don't know where or if there is one. We could get the word out, I guess. " Dimitri said thoughtfully.

"Stuck?" Alexis asked quietly without looking up.
--------
"Sure, let's go parading through the school with 'The Library Is That Way' painted bold on cardboard signs," Zaine suggested, jokingly of course.

"Ugh, yeah. Just a bit." Andorra said as she read the word problem aloud.

"Hey, I can tell you've done this before. " Dimitri said with humor.

"Those problems are the worst," Alexis stated once Andorra had finished reading it. " Try drawing it out. That always seemed to help me sort those."
-------
Frowning, Zaine replied with a blunt "nope".

Andorra nodded and tried what Alexis had suggested.

Dimitri chuckled and shook his head with his levity. "I was joking. " He replied honestly.

Alexis finished with her notes and closed her history book. "Aaaaany easier?" She asked, eager to know how Andorra was doing with that math problem.
------
"Of course," Zaine said under his breath. He wandered over to a shelf on their right and began reading titles in his head. After skimming the first three shelves, he looked over to Dimitri to say, "Apparently the school's board doesn't find reading for enjoyment a necessity. Unless you like rocket science, or are interested in Marxism, I wouldn't recommend hanging out in here," he grinned.

"You just have to put things in perspective," Haley replied. She paused after a moment to sniff the air. "I believe there's a stream, a hundred yards or so that way," she stated. "We can get fresh water, and if the area is good, stop to rest."

Amaryllis smiled in gratefullness for Haley's gift. She had been thirsty since the night before, but hadn't mentioned it. "Wonderful." She sighed.
