Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"That's me, giving the teacher a reason to break out the red pen. But seriously, all I can do is my best." Andorra said with conviction.

"Well, maybe we could ask for certain authors. Ioan wouldn't want us to go stir crazy in here. Who's your favorite author? " Dimitri asked curiously.
"What, you can't do better than your best?" Alexis asked, gasping with fake disbelief.
-------
"Tolkien. Plenty of fantasy for the dreamers among us, with just enough reality for the most literal," Zaine said decidedly. He went around a book shelf to another and scanned the books in search of an interesting title before asking the delayed question, "What about you?"

Quote: Sebastion raise his voice to protest about his uniqueness but the words died in his throat. Obviously this person was dear to him. He didn't care much about anyone. Sebastian hung his head slightly and mumbled,"Yes sir. Not my men. Gotcha." He gave him a little, slightly mocking, salute, and picked up his menu to put a barrier in between him and those piercing eyes. He scanned the menu and nodded before setting it down,"I'm ready to order."

"Why are you always provoking me, Sebastian? Do you like to see my anger?" Ryker asked, still a bit perturbed, as he motioned to the owner to call him over.

" Sadly to say, but no." Andorra said with amusement. She finally finished the that two math problems and closed up her book with a thump. " Good riddance! At least until tomorrow. Then my nightmare begins again. " She replied dramatically. But she lacked the conviction of her words.

Dimitri looked to the shelves in absence of an author. "I mainly got magazines and old newspapers to read. There's not very much intellectual reading there. " He admitted quietly.

"Is that all you've got for torment today?" Alexis asked, referring to homework.
-------
"Perhaps not intellectual, but surely educational to some degree. And if that's what you enjoy reading, what does it matter how intellectually educational they were," Zaine said thoughtfully.

Andorra frowned meaningfully at the note book. "Ten aren't enough? And don't forget, one of them was the worst word problem ever." She said with a chuckle.

Dimitri looked to Zaine surprised by his non-judgmental response. He smiled pleasantly and said, "It wasn't by choice. It was all the guards threw at me." He explained simply.

"No. I don't like to see your anger." He turned to the owner,"But you know what I would like to see? A salad. That would be great. With ranch. No tomatoes." He thought for a minute, staring down at his menu,"And a steamed lobster tail." He gave the owner a little thumbs up, trying to lighten the mood.

The owner looked to Ryker, as he took back to menu. At Ryker's nod, he said, "Yes, sir. I'll have that for you shortly. And to drink? "

Ryker's phone rang and he took it out to look at the number, before answering it,"Yes?"
