Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Haley stopped about halfway up the huge oak. She scooted herself out a little bit on a thick branch, trying to figure out the best way to get comfortable yet stay hidden in that spot. When satisfied with her position, she looked over to Amaryllis to see how she was faring. "All good?" She asked.

"Think so." She smiled with a heavy as she scooted backwards until she was able to rest her back against the trunk. She then decided to enjoy the view for a few seconds before trying to sleep.

Haley gave her a thumbs up before leaning her back against the trunk. After going over loose plans for various outcomes of their journey in her head, she closed her eyes and relaxed herself with the hope that sleep would come quickly.

Sebastian nodded, trying to pretend like he was sad about it. Personally he didn't like Aneurin much at all. Why did he get to have wings and claws? His claws were pretty cool. It wasn't fair. He was more loyal to Ryker than Aneurin would ever be, but Aneurin was by far his superior in Rkyer's eyes. Fate was cruel. "Thank you sir. I'll make sure the process goes as smoothly as possible, so it won't be any trouble to you."
(Aneurin's wings were cut off by Ryker to ensure his loyalty to him ;) )

"So we are ready to help Ryker realize his vision of the future. " Madison explained simply.

Leverett finally caught sight of the target.  He started heading towards the general to intercept him.

Laurel opened her mouth for an explanation of what Ryker's dream was, but hesitated as she decided she rather not know. She had a feeling that she should enjoy the innocence of not knowing Ryker's scemes.

After quickly perfecting her appearance, Aralyn left the bathroom. She found Leverett nearby where she had left him, and following his gaze spotted the man Ryker sought. She reached the man before Leverett, since he had been close by from where she previously stood. Her eyes were fixed elsewhere as she began to pass the man, her sceme of collecting the man with ease failing her as she fell to the slippery ground with the loud sounding crack of her ankle. Aralyn cried out in pain as she slowly sat up in confusion of what had happened, as everything happened so quickly. She moaned in agony as her ankle refused to support her as she attempted to stand, and silent tears fell down her face as she let herself fall again to the floor in surrender to the pain.

"See that it does. You know the importance of timeliness. We wouldn't want you to fail to get you sister here in time." Ryker replied simply, before their food arrived.

Alexis shot a glare at Dimitri, but chose to ignore his comment. "I believe it's 'he in his tiger' and yes, it would be considered cannibalism still. I've got feline DNA in both forms, albeit only a small amount when human," she said decidedly.

At the correction of her grammar, Andorra stuck out her tongue playfully at Alexis.

Dimitri chuckled softly and nodded, "Then I'll have to refrain from eating you then. At lest out of feline courtesy." He said with humor.

"Much appreciated," Alexis replied with a nod to Dimitri. "Now, tell me what the principle did to ya after you left me, all by my poor little self, in history class," she instructed.

"Playing the victim does not become you, Alexis. After all it was you who gave me the worded ammunition, I simply fired it at that over inflated, egotistical bore. But to answer you querie, Ioan is a fair and just man. One of the very few I've become inclined to respect." Dimitri stated honestly.

Madison glanced to Laurel as she finished speaking. She saw the question in her eyes, but didn't force the issue. She instead asked, "So what's your story? Why did Ryker choose you?"

Leverett smiled at the perfect distraction that Aralyn had orchestrated. As all eyes turned to her, he moved in and stuck his finger into the general's side. "One wrong move and I disembowel you right here. You know well the abominations Ryker Lord creates. Come with me peacefully and you may live another day." Leverett said in menacing voice.

The general gasped at the suddenness of the French man's approach. His words brought resignation of his fate. He nodded mutely and let himself be led away from the crowd trying to help the girl on the floor.

"It's not like I told you to fire it," Alexis mumbled. "But that's nice. I'm glad it went well," she smiled sincerely.
