Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Haley gave her a thumbs up before leaning her back against the trunk. After going over loose plans for various outcomes of their journey in her head, she closed her eyes and relaxed herself with the hope that sleep would come quickly.

Amaryllis noted Haley's thoughtfullness. She was grateful that she had taken care of them both so far with her wisdom, acknowledge that was very simple. She hadn't inherited the knowledge Aneurin had when given the animal DNA.

Madison glanced to Laurel as she finished speaking. She saw the question in her eyes, but didn't force the issue. She instead asked, "So what's your story? Why did Ryker choose you?"

Leverett smiled at the perfect distraction that Aralyn had orchestrated. As all eyes turned to her, he moved in and stuck his finger into the general's side. "One wrong move and I disembowel you right here. You know well the abominations Ryker Lord creates. Come with me peacefully and you may live another day." Leverett said in menacing voice.

The general gasped at the suddenness of the French man's approach. His words brought resignation of his fate. He nodded mutely and let himself be led away from the crowd trying to help the girl on the floor.

Laurel hesitated, not yet knowing if she wanted to share her past with a stranger. She realized in her thoughtfulness that Madison was a woman, and because of that she felt closer to her, perhaps more so than her growing affections for Razeth, or even the friendship that secretly made itself known between her and Ryker. She knew she had always felt frightened by a man's prescene, as all her life it had been men who had abused her. Her father, her brother, along with their friends who displayed these men's actions as well. "Ryker bought me from my father." She said quietly, wanting first to see Madison's reactions before deciding to tell her story further.

Aralyn flirted with the first man who came to her rescue. Using her charm, along with crocodile tears, she persuaded the man to help her towards the door, only after Leverett had left successfully with his captive.

Haley soon fell into a light sleep, waking occasionally to look over and make sure Amaryllis was still there.

"Who writes POOP on a note anyway? What does that even mean?" Dimitri asked curiously.

Andorra smiled at her inside knowledge. But sat quietly watching them talk.
"Apparently, kitty cat here does," Alexis said, pointing to her own head. "As for what it means: nothing. It means literally nothing. It's just something my brother and I used to write to each other during class. I included you in a family inside joke. You're welcome." She crossed her arms and stared at him, awaiting his reply.

Madison frowned deeply at that reveal. "Your own father sold you? That's pretty low." Madison stated with a small measure of shock.

Leverett shut the trunk of the car and headed back into the airport to look for Aralyn. "Oh, thank you, Monsieur. I'll take the Mademoiselle form here." He said respectfully to the Good Samaritan.

"Oh, your welcome! An inside joke? Did it escape your feline mind that I wasn't privy to such knowledge? I didn't get the memo so to speak. But now that I know, it's nice that you consider me in your family loop. So I suppose I'll have to forgive you for that POOP bomb and give you a big old Tigger hug!" Dimitri said, as he stood to do so.

Andorra snorted and laughed until she cried. "Run! He'll squeeze the stuffing out of ya!" She said though her laughter.

Alexis kept a semi-serious face, though, she was about ready to join Andorra in her laughter. "Hey, Andorra knows as well!" She said, pointing a finger at the giggling girl.

"I've been here for about two years." Yhgiilra reminded him. "What, did you forget already?"
(I never answered this  Geez Gar, Please don't hesitate to remind next time  )

"No, not exactly. I just wasn't quite sure if I was remembering the number correctly. After all, we've been throwing dates back and forth a while now," Allen said.

(Funny thing is, I was just about to remind you. XD)

"Yeah. Suppose so." Yhgiilra shrugged. "Can't believe I haven't asked this yet. What kind of animal were you mixed with? Your features are rather subtle, so I can't quite tell."
