Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"Ever tasted Play-Doh?" Allen asked. "Not nearly as good as it smells."
"Nope. Never messed with it, either. Never really got that stuff as a kid." Yhgiilra told him. "Though I still managed to eat weird stuff. Like dog food, which actually isn't that bad."

(True experience. When I was really little I would eat dog food with my dog sometimes, until I got caught by my mom.)

I think every child, at some point in their life, tries play-doh, or some kind of pet food)

"Dog food shouldn't even be fed to dogs, what with all the trash they put in it nowadays," Allen said, a hint of amusement in his tone.

Haley tossed the apple to her. "Yep," she agreed. She stepped out on the limb to survey the area a bit and make sure the ground was clear. "As soon as you're ready, we'll get some water then get as far away from here as possible. I've no idea how far Ryker's men are, or if they've even set out, but we'd be best to play it safe," she said once she was near enough for Amaryllis to hear.
"Agreed." Amaryllis muttered before biting into her apple hungrily. She finished eating quickly, before carefully climbing down thE tree.

"What you are? You mean a wolf hybrid? I think he already knows that, sweetie. " Madison explained gently.

(How much more secure can he get, he's stuck in the trunk. :gig )

Leverett unlocked and got in the drivers side. He looked at Aralyn though the passenger window a moment. Contemplating leaving her behind, but leaned over and unlocked the the door for her. " Mon Dieu." He whispered softly as he slipped the key into the ignition and started the car.

"Yes,.. I am a wold hybrid, but thats not what I meant." Laurel stated quietly, unsure how to explain what she meant.
~
"Whatever that means." Aralyn answered sarcastically as she entered the car, locking the door behind her.
:)P For being able to act so well, Aralyn sure can't pretend to be Leverett's friend )

Haley climbed down after her and headed for the creek. As she drank, she looked up and around them to make sure they weren't being watched. An idea came to her while she was looking up the creek and as soon as Amaryllis was near, she voiced it. "How do you feel about walking in the water?" She asked, looking up at the girl. "I know it's literally freezing, but if we can bear it, it would cover our tracks and scent," she explained.

Amaryllis was running to the water as Haley voiced her idea. "Wonderful, actually." She beamed, with personal shock. "Ive felt a strange draw to the water ever since I woke."

"I've never read the ingredients in dog food, not really a hobby of mine, but I'll take your word for it." Yhgiilra stated and chuckled lightly.

"Let's see if we'll still be saying wonderful after an hour straight of freezing water," Haley said cheerfully.

"What? Am I the only kid who finds label reading a great hobby?" Allen joked. "I really only know it's bad from the nutritional facts my mom forced on me occasionally," he then explained.

Amaryllis batted her eyes in playful irritation. Excited at the challenge Haley purposed. She stepped into the water without fear, refreshed by it coolness.
