(Ok, after embarrassing myself greatly enough to last a lifetime, I'm not going to correct you anymore, and will now reply)
Anuerin was at first alarmed by the question, but knowing his father was trying to mess with his head remembered the answer that he long ago had accepted; Anuerin was sent to Ryker shortly after the birth of Amaryllis. Their mother wasn't sure if the baby would survive past infancy, and having barely enough money to pay the necessary medical bills, there was nothing left for her to use on her first born. It wasn't possible for their mother to keep both children, so she sent Anuerin to Ryker, rather than bearing the guilt of his death by starvation if he were to have staid with his mother. It was the hardest choice she ever made, Anuerin knew this and respected her for choosing the best option when neither seemed better than the other. "She loved us, therefore you will never understand why she did the things that she did." Anuerin grinned smugly, glad to have overcome the mind controlling games of his father. Immediately he grabbed his father's favored arm, taking and twisting it behind his arm, the arm would soon brake with the intensity of his hold if Ryker was not freed, but this thought didn't bother Anuerin; it was little when compared to the amount of lives Ryker ended throughout his own.
(That's perfect! I love that very much.

Ryker stilled as the pressure on his arm intensified. He took in his opinions to prevent the fracture, when he noticed movement in the tree overhead. He had a second to recognize the feminine figure before she launched herself at Anuerin. "No, Madison! Don't kill him! I'm fine, really!" He shouted to the lioness hybrid as she tackled Aneurin snarling at him.
