Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

(Who, me? I have no idea what you're talking about. * whistles slightly and looks around at the ceiling* )
(It worked! I must be a sorceress!

Yes, you, silly.)

"So cool!" Andorra said with amazement. She set the book up on the bed and asked, "Umm, I kinda made myself at home here. You didn't have plans did you?"
Donella shook her head and looked to the book "No, I don't really know anyone else. My plans were just to read some more." She said softly.

Aw shucks)

Haley nodded. She took the pack from Amaryllis and headed out of the dark alley towards a less used road she had spotted from the roof. "Come," she beckoned to the girl to follow as she set off at a speedy pace. Had she been alone, she would have simply run, but she knew Amaryllis wasn't physically capable of that, at least not right now.

Amaryllis struggled to keep up with Haley, but they were never divided by anything more than a few feet, and even then Amaryllis was incapable of complaint. She understood that all that Haley did was for both their good.

Haley wound her way through the maze of streets, not daring to stay on the same one for too long in case they should be spotted. At a street corner, she shifted the backpack to her other shoulder and checked for cars coming before they crossed. It had been years since she's been in civilization, but she knew that much still. While they waited, she pointed towards a building in the distance. "We'll make our way towards that, then from there we should be able to slip out of town unnoticed," she explained to Amaryllis.

Instead of being frightened by them, Amaryllis was in awe of the signs of life within the city. She had been locked away for far too long. "Good," she exclaimed, trying to hide her disappoint that they were leaving.
