Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Instead of being frightened by them, Amaryllis was in awe of the signs of life within the city. She had been locked away for far too long. "Good," she exclaimed, trying to hide her disappoint that they were leaving.
When the way was clear of vehicles, Haley began crossing. "So, Amaryllis, if you don't mind me asking, do you remember anything from before?" She asked, somewhat vaguely but she knew the girl would understand.

"Before coma, no. Not much. I don't think it had been an hour since Ryker treated me before I began to experience a negative reaction." Amaryllis stated quietly, head kept low as she moved along the streets.

Laurel listened to Leverett intently. "I didn't know that," she admitted with a smile, "my mother named me." She enjoyed hearing name spoken; after her mother died both her father and brother called her girl with much disgust. She took Leverett's uninjured shoulder, holding him still, and kept continual contact with him. She hoped Alastor who pop his arm back into place while Leverett's attention was distracted; maybe then it wouldn't hurt so bad.

Leverett glanced to Alastor and Eric as the spoke quietly together. When Eric nodded and got down and put all his upper body weight upon his affected arm, Looked away to focus upon Laurel and her beautiful face. He clenched his good fist into a tight ball and braced himself for the agony that was about to ensue. "Your mother sounds wonderful and that she loved you very much. " He replied before Alastor grabbed his wrist and shoulder to raise it to twist it at a certain angle to pop it back into joint. As a loud popping sound announced his success, Leverett let out a sigh of relief as most of the pain subsided into a mild discomfort. "Oui! Thank goodness!" He shouted passionately.

Haley turned onto a narrow side street after crossing. "Oh," came her quiet reply. "If you don't mind me asking, what was he 'treating' you for exactly?"
