Laurel curved her back away from Ryker, bracing herself for the pain she knew she could not avoid with both men keeping her from moving further. "Don't do this." She warned sternly.
Sophia squirmed as she heard the struggle inside the room. She wanted to meet the girl in the room. They both seems somewhat scared.

Uncaring of her wants, he preceded with clinical accuracy with the spine. When he got to the pelvis, he set the syringe to the side and picked up the scalpel to make a small incision to get to the bone. Once that was completed, he picked up the small drill to access the marrow.

(Brutal! So...can Ryker finish the genetic alterations on Soohia tomorrow, as she is the new assassin? She needs to be made faster and her claws need to be extended further when in human form, so she can basically have knives always present on her)

( I suppose so. But with claws that large and always present, how would you be able to pull the trigger of her sniper rifle?)

Laurel let the anger that they would willingly bring her pain consume her, in attempt of not letting herself dwell on her curgent despair. If they saw that she was in pain she was only letting them win. And she would not let that happen. She had to believe that she was braver than that.
