Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Andorra looked to Donella and rolled her eyes. She couldn't help she liked messing with Zaine. She saw a lot of her little brother in him. She frowned slightly at the arrent thought. Somethings were best left in the past. Like the reasons she could no longer sing. "Yeah, we should probably finish up and head out before we get caught. " She said softly as she moved to grab a towel to help dry and put away the dishes.
Zaine finished putting all the dishes and ingredients they had used away. "Now what?" He asked.

Nova looked to him again as she brought them inside. She frowned a little and looked away and to the building. "Why?" She asked curiously as she debated then headed for a room to put him in until his father got back. She had been there since she was little, so she didn't know any other way of life than this and felt it was normal.

Anuerin sighed at girl's personal questions. "Because she is dying and Ryker's use of her as his experiment with only ensure her premature death."

Dyrus slowed as the scent of blood was on the air. Amaryllis's to be exact. He stopped and looked ahead in time to see the other units van pull away. "Ok, Vasper's group is heading for the rendezvous point. Now we need to finish catching ours." He informed before picking up on Haley's trail again.
Haley gasped softly when she saw several strange yet familiar vans pulling away. They wouldn't be leaving unless they had what they wanted: Amaryllis. The thought made her mad, at herself more than anything or anyone. She had been trusted with getting the girl to safety and she couldn't even manage that. The vans were leaving, but she was still here. Were they still searching for her? Or did they just want Amaryllis? She questioned everything, trying to discern what was going on. Deciding that it would be better to be safe than sorry, she turned and ran the other direction. If they were still after her, she was determined to make them work for it.

"I'm sorry you had to endure this. I'd hoped he wouldn't treat you like the others. I'm not to sure how Ryker's going to take this." The medic confided in Amaryllis before a hand smacked the back of his head. "He didn't say I couldn't! Like I said before, the permission is in the omission!"

Amaryllis nodded solemnly at the medic's words, a little surprised by his expression that he cared about what happened to her. Her pale blue eyes widened at the sight of Vasper, afraid that he was eager to again hurt her, when a thought of great importance came to mind. "My brother. He is alive? Where's my brother?!" She moaned desperatly.

After Alastor finished fitting the sling straps on Leverett, he moved to the medicine cabinet to get a couple pain pills and a small paper cup of water. "Ok, down the hatch and off to bed for you. At least for now, it'll give the medicine time to work in your system before your adrenaline wears off. If you don't take it easy, you're going to feel true discomfort. Trust me, you don't want to push this Leverett. You're lucky she didn't flat out break your arm." Alastor surmised helpfully.

Leverett clenched his jaws at the mention of Aralyn. "Duly noted, doctor. I'll count myself one of the lucky ones. "He said bitterness evident in his tone, as he carefully stood up. "Laurel, it was a pleasure meeting you and hope to see you around." He said pleasantly as he stopped in front of her and offered her his hand of his good arm in parting.

Laurel remained quiet while Alastair and Leverett talked, feeling their conversation was one that was not her place to join in. She smiled as Leverett came to stand before her, and warmly accepted his hand to shake it. "It was a pleasure," she returned.

Donella helped them both put stuff back away again then looked around and shrugged "Well, the tiger certainly isn't here. Are we going to look for him again?" She asked, looking to Andorra again.

Anuerin sighed at girl's personal questions. "Because she is dying and Ryker's use of her as his experiment with only ensure her premature death."
Nova tilted her head at that then frowned and looked ahead, opening a door when they reached the rooms she wanted. "But what if he can make her well again?" She didn't like thinking of Ryker as being wrong, but then again this was Anuerin that was telling her.

"A good old fashioned tiger hunt sounds like fun. You in?" Andorra asked Zaine pleasantly.

Dyrus stopped and turned to Jarvis and snarled, "look, you're slowing me down! When I find her, I'll call you in to collect us. This one is proving to be intelligent and I need to focus on every detail."

Jarvis looked hard at Dyrus for a long time before he conceded, "Fine! But you'd best find her soon or it's you tail on the line. "

"Oh, believe me, I will. This is personal now. I love a challenge and I'm not challenged very often. " Dyrus said before sprinting off after Haley unimpeded by standard humans.
(Where is Haley's form? It's not on the character page.)
