Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

(She just said "Follow the coo-coo" lol. It's pronounced like that coo-coo clock bird. That cracks me up.)

Donella stopped and looked back to them, waiting for them to come out of the room once more.

( Lol! :D )
Andorra stepped out of the way and started down the hallway. She laughed heartily at Zaine's humorous words. "Why Zaine, I do believe you made a joke!" She said proudly as they caught up with Donella.
~~~
Dimitri had been waiting for Alexis's response. He smiled warmly and nodded, "Fine and dandy." He chimed in.
~~~
Ashton threw back her head to let her riotous laugh escape. When she sobered, he glanced to Allen and stated, "Honorable Ladyship of Dinkytown? I like that! It does have a ring to it. You do know how to flatter a girl." She paused to add, " Or is it because I'm buying the pizza? " She asked teasingly.
"Yay!" Zaine laughed half heartedly, not because he found himself funny but simply for Andorra's sake.
-----
"Well in that case, I pronounce this room finished!" Alexis said with a grand sweep of the arm towards the shelf and chairs.
------
Smiling mischievously, Allen shrugged at the question. "Because you're buying the pizza, all the way. But if flattery is an art, then I consider myself a master," he said not-so-humbly.

"Good, that's what I was hoping you'd say." Alastor admitted as he carefully pulled her shirt back into place. He then went over to the desk, removing his surgical gloves as he did so. He tossed them in the trash before he documented his observations of her wound. He came back over afterwards and smiled kindly to her. "Are you up for a little stress test? It basically running on a treadmill to measure your heart rate and recovery time." He asked quietly.

Laurel remained in her place at the examination table until his words confirmed she no longer needed to stay there. "I think I can." She answered, smiling shyly to him as she stood.

( No, Jarvis was with Dyrus's group. They left Dyrus and thus were free to pick up Ryker. The van with Amaryllis is at the Rendezvous point. They couldn't very well sit at an Airport with a freshly disfigured girl and risk discovery by the authorities. ;) That's my logic at lest. )

"There you go. That will quench your thirst from your blood loss." The medic said soothingly. He glanced up to look out the side window as a pounding rain began. It was loud on the roof of the van.

(I understand now.)
Amaryllis held out the canteen for the medic to take back with trembling hands. She then settled on the floor, eyes closed as she tried to think of something besides her pain to occupy her attention by. She kept quiet, having nothing to speak of except to be released of her pain, and not having the strength to speak loudly enough to be heard above the rain.

Nova frowned at him, thinking about his question "What do I do for him? Most of the time I am here, training but not really doing anything to 'earn' my place. If she's smart then she could become a researcher or something like that, that's helpful without putting her in danger, right? You don't have to be physically strong to be useful." She certainly wasn't the strongest one here, but she could fly and that was a useful trait.

Donella huffed softly, a sort of laugh in her cat form as she returned to tracking as well as she could. She was a cat after all, and even with training, she wasn't as good as a canine would have been. Oh well, she would try her best and hope they found the tiger.

"I think Donella has something!" Andorra said as she hurried along to follow her. She chose not to press the matter with Zaine. Look at that, she was making progress already. She thought humorously to herself.
"Yay!" Zaine laughed half heartedly, not because he found himself funny but simply for Andorra's sake.

"I concur Vanna White." Dimitri said teasingly. "Now let's scram before the jug is up." He added like an old time move
~~~
Ashton smiled pleasantly with her eyes alight with playfulness. She made like she was taking that over, then asked curiously, "Is that right? What else do you consider yourself a master of, Allen? Not being overly humble, that's for certain."
Haley gave him a thumbs up before turning quickly. With the rain coming on fast, she started off at a jog on the rooftop and, building speed as she ran, had enough momentum at the end of the building to leap across to the opposite one.
Dyrus didn't waste any time. He started sprinting to the ledge and leapt forward to land in a skid of gravel on the other buildings rooftop. But he was still a building behind. He growled softly as the rain became a hendurance in linr of sight of Haley. With urgency, he hurredly prepared to jump to the next building in pursuit.
Laurel remained in her place at the examination table until his words confirmed she no longer needed to stay there. "I think I can." She answered, smiling shyly to him as she stood.
"Now that's what I like. A positive thinker!" Alastor admitted with a smile. He then led Laurel to an adjacent room where a treadmill was in the center and a computer was wired up to it in yet another room. "I'll have to put electrodes in you, I hope you don't mind." He added with trepidation.
The medic took back the canteen and capped it to set it aside. He looked around the back and found a blanket to cover Amaryllis with. She was frail and increasingly colder. "Hang in there, the doctor is on his way. If anyone can help you, Ryker can." He said encouragingly.
(That's weird, I was sure that I answered that.)
Anuerin grinded his teeth together at her words. "Don't you think she's tried that? Ryker's kept in solitude for six years so that she could be his lab rat, even more than you or I."
Laurel allowed herself to explore the room a moment, before turning to Alastor with a shy expression. "I don't understand. What are electrodes?"
