Elliot replied sadly "I doubt we'll ever leave the island. But at least we have each other." He brushed her cheek softly, giving it a tender kiss. He admired her, inside and out, for her beauty and all the good qualities she had.
Zoe sighed at the gentle touch, though she didn't like the words. She just had to hope that if they were discovered that Ryker wouldn't try to tear them apart.
He saw the sadness in her eyes, and softly took her face, looking into hers. Elliot said quietly "I know it's not fun here and we worry about our sisters, but at least we have each other."
Zoe met his eyes and listened to him speak then nodded "If our sisters were here and we had assurance that we could stay together here, I wouldn't want to leave."
Lilith spread her wings instantly, and began flying after him. She eventually caught up to him, and tagged him, before waving with a goofy smile, as she fell towards the water, splashing into it. She began swimming as fast as she could, away from him as far as possible.
A pleasant smile spread slowly over Zaine's face as he looked the picture over. Now, he didn't regret one bit stepping out of class in order to return her pencil. Any negative feelings he had on acts of kindness from earlier were erased—though, he still decided to avoid Willow. He glanced up to thank the girl but she was already gone. At least she'd signed her name.
Ava went to put her school stuff away in her room then headed to the dining room to get a snack to eat. She carried a notebook still, but this one had no schoolwork in it, just doodles.
Elliot nodded, replying "Me too. I just want you to be safe and our sisters as well."
