Amaryllis balanced the food tray on her palm, while her other hand remained firmly set on the railing for the rest of the ride.

(That's fine, Ryker is hungry. He hasn't had time to eat yet. Poor guy. )
As the doors opened, Vasper waited for Amaryllis hesitantly. He did not want to see Anuerin.

"Promises, promises. Now you have to hold my tray as I pick the lock. " Dimitri replied as he carried his food to follow the others. "We don't need windows where we're going. " He said jokingly to Amara.

"So demanding," Alexis scoffed jokingly as she followed after him. A thought came to her and she looked up to ask, "I take it you have your kit on you because you knew the other night wasn't your last getting out?"

"Yeah," Zaine joked, but he didn't follow it up with an enforcing laugh. He slid into his seat and pulled out a textbook from his backpack. "They're going to try to get out, I think, and you're invited to join them," he said offhandedly.

"You don't want to get out and see the sun?" Ava asked, looking at Zaine curiously.

Andorra hurried after Donella with a tray she'd filled for her friend. "You know for an owl, he sure is dumb. Capital D.U.M.B! Dumb!"She said with gently.

Donella looked down at the floor, turning to lead them to the roof door she had found and opened before. If no one had messed with it, it would still be unlocked from last time. She didn't know what to say to Andorra though.

" Alexis, I'm a tiger, that's a given. Plus I always keep my kit on me. When you've been locked up as much as I have, you always want an out." Dimitri replied with conviction. " Besides, we're going incognito. Donella hooking us up. I've never been to the roof before." He added excitedly.

Amara listened to them talk back and forth as she followed them. She didn't know what she was more excited about going outside or eating. She snacked on some of her food as they walked. "So where are we going for this picnic exactly?" She asked no one in particular.

Amaryllis walked out, but held back when she noticed that Vasper hadn't followed. "You don't have come," she said gently, she wanted the support of his company, but was afraid that he thought he had been burdened with the responsibility of staying with her, "I know my way."

Going to the counter she chose a few select food chooses that she could remember being listed as a meal option Ioan gave her permission to eat. She was so tired of her life being controlled so strictly, and was even more lonely without the company of her friends.
