Donella dipped her head then shrugged "I got out on the roof before, when I skipped classes yesterday. I don't know if we are supposed to be or not." She admitted then shrugged again, sending another glance to Ava then looking at Zaine. "You can't permanently lock a fire escape, it's against the city codes in every city."
"I don't think this is just any city," Zaine said, frowning slightly. After last night, he was, understandably, very hesitant to cross Ioan again.
"It's a safety regulation, they can put an alarm on it but can't just leave it locked." Donella said then looked down before turning away, misinterpreting his not wanting to go as wanting to stay with the other girl. She looked to Andorra then headed for the door to leave the cafeteria. Allowed or not, she wasn't going to stay and watch him flirt with another girl in front of her. She paused to wait for the others in the hall if they were going to come.
Thinking she just didn't feel like talking—which was something he completely understood—Zaine watched her go before slowly returning to the table. If they planned on getting out, all power to them. But he wasn't about to risk upsetting Ioan any further.
Ava watched him return to the table and tilted her head at him "Is she your girlfriend?" She had to ask after that little show

Ryker tucked the blanket up around Anuerin once he slipped off to sleep. He then went to his desk to get some work done.

Vasper waited idly until the elevator stopped and the doors opened. He did snag a piece of bacon off Haley's plate and chewed it quietly, she wouldn't miss it.

"Yeah," Zaine joked, but he didn't follow it up with an enforcing laugh. He slid into his seat and pulled out a textbook from his backpack. "They're going to try to get out, I think, and you're invited to join them," he said offhandedly.
"Promises, promises. Now you have to hold my tray as I pick the lock. " Dimitri replied as he carried his food to follow the others. "We don't need windows where we're going. " He said jokingly to Amara.
Andorra hurried after Donella with a tray she'd filled for her friend. "You know for an owl, he sure is dumb. Capital D.U.M.B! Dumb!"She said with gently.
