So is that really like, hiking but barefoot? I feel like I'd be so worried about stepping on the wrong thing...
I have been barefoot for most of my life, so I had very thick callouses on my feet. I could sprint flat out on fresh gravel and it was only a little uncomfortable. So, even if I stepped on something like a super sharp rock or a thorn, it usually didn't injured me. Also, when you spend that much time barefoot, your body totally adapts! Walking barefoot (and doing it properly) is very different from walking in shoes. You developed a sixth sense, and you learn to walk in a fairly specific way. For me, it means that my feet don't really come more than 0.5-1" off the ground when I take steps (unless I'm walking in a different specific way for other terrain). That came from walking in tall grass. If you lift your feet too high when barefoot in tall grass, you get stabbed between the toes, which sucks! I still have a lot of weird ways of walking, but none of the callouses to go with it right now.

I kind of feel like an imposter stating my long list of attempted hobbies, because chronic fatigue keeps me from enjoying them, BUT I do enjoy them when I can! So, I have previously had fun with (and still occasionally visit) things like sewing, quilting, embroidery, loom knitting, sketching, painting, art with all sorts of niche mediums, caring for my Croton plants, whittling, barefoot hiking, and maybe some more. There ARE some things I have tried and not enjoyed enough to stick with, like crochet and actual knitting, so I promise I have a Hobby Filter. 🤣 I also rode horses for about 13 years (moved and can't do that anymore sadly).

I think I've had some waffle fries from someone else's tray before. 😂 And I'm not sure that we have them out here! Maybe we do?? Unfortunately I have a gluten intolerance so I won't be able to properly try it anytime soon.
WOW THAT'S A LOT OF HOBBIES! love the list!
we do offer grilled nuggets that are gluten free if you wanted to try it. A lot of people like them. But no pressure ofc!

How interesting! I've heard that before. Sounds like some sort of superpower :p

For reals, they're pretty bad for your back too...
Yah.

Once upon a time, I got a nice pair of church shoes. My Nana really liked this store and raved about how good these shoes were.

Yah. No.

I had back problems all Christmas Mass. And my feet hurt like crazy. I never wanted to use those shoes again.
