Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Elliot settled a bit more into the sheets, replying "I am." He purred at her, whispering "I will always be comfortable alongside my beloved vixen."
Zoe smiled and kissed his chest, the only place she could reach without moving then settled again, closing her eyes and listening to his heart until she went to sleep

Ryker moved forward and gently settled Anuerin fully upon the bed.

"I FEEL YA!" He said as he looked around. Razeth hadn't noticed the other trays of food when he'd walked in. So focused onot winning. The staff as actively moving the food out to the dinning room on a large table on the far wall, buffet style.
Anuerin tensed at the touch. He awoke, lunging forward into a sitting position to look around himself. "Dad?" He questioned wearily, as his eyes settled on his father's face; the previous carefree expression of his slumber now replaced with a guarded look.

Laurel walked around, admiring the food when she noticed a platter with a large knife placed beside it. The knife in itself was not scary, but it reminded Laurel of her father and how he had hurt her. She suddenly backed away from the table of food, her back meeting a wall. Laurel trembled with fear, completely forgetting where she was as she distantly looked across the room, watching her imagination approach her in the form of her father. She cowered to the floor as the figure lifted the knife to strike her with.

Eliana suspected that they were not falling for her distraction. She was preparing herself to attack them again when they mentioned Alastor. Her face went pale, he was better then Ryker but if she was going to him it meant needles, and more tests. With little warning she launched herself at Eric unwilling to submit to more tests. The last round had been too much, too painful she was not going to take anymore.

"Sounds like a plan, I am sure they have something we can put the food in. I mean come on they have this giant house, there has to be a basket somewhere around here." Layla said a little stubbornly. As they neared the dining hall she hesitated a bit knowing how she had been in the past, there was probably at least one person she had pissed off in there. But this was a new her, she had a friend now, she didn't have to be that person anymore. She shrugged her hesitation off and headed into the room hoping their plan for a picnic went off without a hitch.
Eric pulled out the syringe in his pocket and popped the needle cap off with his thumb and jabbed it into the muscle of her thigh as he fell backwards. For some reason they always went for him. They double up on everything. " Nighty night!" He said with a sigh.

Leverett had watched her quietly as she hesitated and then found her confidence once again. Very perplexing and equally fascinating. He headed to the kitchen with Layla. To their luck, the staff did so happen to have a picnic basket. He took it gratefully and said to Layla, "Now let's go fill it with food. It is wondrous that it has everything else we could need."

"True enough, if there isn't a class already I am going to take you with me to help convince Ioan to let us start one. And if I ever get into trouble I will hire you to be my Lawyer. I will probably need it at some point, I always seem to find trouble, or maybe it finds me. " Adrian replied with a chuckle thinking of some of his past mishaps with a mischievous smile.
"Hummm, handsome and a bad boy. I must have done something very right in my to have found you.....or was it you who found me? I was a bit distracted." Willow admitted with humor.
Casey looked to Amara then shook his head "I don't really have a favorite, not here." He answered and glanced to the other two as they spoke about having a theater class. It might be entertaining to watch, but he hoped he didn't get called to get on stage.

"What a high price to pay for a simple misdemeanor," Alexis muttered. She hurried after him, forcing herself to take bigger steps to catch up sooner. "Do you really not owe me anything that would count??" She asked, eyeing him suspiciously.
"If I did, you couldn't probably prove it. So no, I don't owe you anything. Am I walking too fast?" Dimitri inquired teasingly as he noticed her taking unusually large steps.

"Um, a bit," Alexis said rather flatly. Caught up now, she linked her arm through his with the hope that that would keep their pace even. "I'm too tired for thinking. Just tell me what you want and I'll consider it."

Dyrus finished up putting his room back in order. He'd gone so long without eating, he was almost as weak as a kitten. So he headed to Vasper's room to see if he could get him to go eat with him. He needed his friend and he hadn't been very nice to him this morning. He knocked softly before he opened Vasper's door upon not getting a response. He tipped his head as he saw Vasper curled up in a comforter. That was when he caught Amaryllis's scent. He stepped inside the room and closed the door behind him before he walked over to the bed. He hesitated a moment, before he did something he'd never done, he crawled up in bed next to Vasper. He looked so peaceful and serene, he hated to wake him. So he sprawled out to watch his friend sleep. Just the fact that Vasper didn't stir at the disturbance of the bed moving, was a testament to how deeply he must be sleeping. He frowned as he leaned in and smelled Amaryllis unique scent upon the comforter Vasper was cleaving to "Oh Vasp, what have you done." He whispered worriedly, as realization sank in, "Oh no, what had I done? I sent her right to you. An innocent lamb for the slaughter. Except it'll be Ryker slaughtering both of us, when he finds out."

Vasper had registered Dyrus's rich scent the moment he'd come in his room. He needn't worry about being harmed by him, for he trusted him completely. But upon hearing his friend's worried statement, Vasper growled low in a groggy voice, "You talk too much and smell of alcohol mixed with frustration. But you can rest assured, I didn't touch Amaryllis. She merely slept here, wrapped in this comforter. That is all that happened. Until Haley came and shamed her for it."

"Ah, so technically, you did sleep.....together. " Dyrus teased him as he stared up at the ceiling from the flat of his back. This mattress was quite comfortable and it made Dyrus realize how very tired he was.

Vasper sighed softly and rolled up onto his side to face his friend. As he propped his head upon his hand, he blinked the sleep from his eyes. He then looked long and hard at Dyrus, noticing his sleepy almost unguarded expression. He took a mental picture, savoring this moment before he smirked secretly. "You're still slightly drunk, Dyrus. That explains your lack of inhibitions." Vasper leaned in closer to him to sample his scent more fully. "And you smell of Haley. It would seem our catches caught each of us." He replied with ironic humor.

At the mention of Haley's name, Dyrus almost winced noticeably. "I was going to get something to eat, are you coming with me?" He asked to change the subject. Becoming keenly aware of Vespers close scrutiny and proximity. "What? Why are you looking at me like that? Is something wrong?" He asked quietly.

"No, I'm sorry. I'm just being sentimental, I guess I'll come with you. You know, in case Madison tries anything with you. You're in no state to fend her off. I cannot have my alpha being turned into a bata. " Vasper stated simply as he fell backwards and stretched out his muscles before getting up.

"You're always saying that to me. But don't you realize you're stronger then I'll ever be. If anyone is alpha here, it's you, Vasper." Dyrus murmured softly as he fought off the sleep to sit up slowly.

Vasper hurried over to offer his assistance. "Dyrus, I've never seen you like this." He replied almost worried now.

"I'll be alright, I just need some food and sleep. Then I'll be back to my old self. I promise, no more benders with gentleman Jack. It turns out, he's not so gentlemanly after all." Dyrus said jokingly as they made it to the door.

Vasper laughed despite his concern. "Good, I'll hold you to it." He replied with conviction.

"I was simply trying to make you more comfortable, son. I've even looking everywhere for you. But then I remembered here and I grew concerned about you.. " Ryker said quietly.

Razeth didn't realize that going to Laurel was in giving her imagined image of her father and physical form. So his actions were only to help her, his actions would only feed into the perceived attack. He realized his mistake and spoke soothingly to her, hoping his voice would cut through the terror. "Laurel? Please, you're safe and far from his reach."

"Um, a bit," Alexis said rather flatly. Caught up now, she linked her arm through his with the hope that that would keep their pace even. "I'm too tired for thinking. Just tell me what you want and I'll consider it."
"How about we end this ridiculous conversation. We're always going on and on about the stupidest things." Dimitri replied with a chuckle. He paused in his steps as he looked down the hallway. "And there is your clock, Lady Alexis. " He pointed out.

"Aw, but I like our ridiculous conversations," Alexis said, giving him an exaggerated pout. She then turned to see the clock. "You're gonna have to read that aloud, Tiger. Kitty can't see so well from down here."
