" do you actually eat them?"

Alexis dumped the packets of sugar from their container and began building a flimsy tower. "Eh. I suppose so. Though, mice aren't much fun to catch. I prefer birds."
"Nope. I much prefer my bird in the form of fried chicken," Alexis laughed." do you actually eat them?"
"What exactly are we ment to be waiting for?" Charlotte asked as she paced the short distance of the room.
Sophia thought of bringing them back in, and they did so instantly. She grinned wickedly.
"Nope. I much prefer my bird in the form of fried chicken," Alexis laughed.
Laurel turned her gaze from the door to stare deeply into Razeth's eyes, unshaken by the guards doubt that she would survive the night. "Just leave me alone, and I wont bother you." She declared proudly. Laurel sat in the farthest corner from Razeth, which placed her beside the door. That is what she wanted, being closest to the only exit gave her the slightest comfort. "I don't like this anymore more than you do." She muttered, not breaking her gaze on him as she sat down. Despite her confident pose, she hoped he had not noticed how badly her hands were trembling, she couldn't help it. He reminded her of her father, she feared what he would do with her. She couldn't overpower, but if she gave the sense that she was braver than what was assumed he might not think her a worthy opponent. Not only this, but the horrors of the lab had already taken their toll on her worn soul.

Cyra did the same, following Andorra's lead. Nothing was heard from Cyra the entire walk, but her eyes remained attentive to everything around her.
Helen doodled in a pocket notebook.
Razeth pointed to the bed and said, "You should probably lie down before the DNA kicks in. It will not be pleasant, I assure you. We can reach a truce for now. I'm not at my best either. " He also didn’t take his eyes off Laurel, despite the effects of his earlier tests.

When the reached their room, Andorra opened the door for Cyra and then followed her inside. "There, we made it to our private sanctum." She said softly.
Laurel gave in after he had finished his thought, knowing that he meant was he said although she wasn't completely sure if he would still try anything. Hesitantly she stood and walked to the bed where she sat so that she could both watch Razeth and the door at once. She said nothing to him, but continued to watch him cautiously.
(What time is it, are you thinking? Wondering if she should be going to sleep..)

Cyra waited until the door was shut. "I, had a brother." She said quietly after some silence, she then sat on the edge of her bed.
Sophia smiled and said "I will train as hard as I can, thanks." She stood up and headed for the door.Ryker looked to Sophia and said, "Now go hone your craft with your new weapons. I believe you'll find other benefits to that serum I made for you. Your speed and endurance will greatly improve as well."
