"Hey now, that was only one," Alexis called out as she hurried to catch up with him. "And the other was a joke," she said, once she was beside him. "If you had the accent still, I'd let it pass. But ya don't, so pay up," she grinned.

Dimitri grinned again and sighed dramatically. "Alright, fine. I'll concede to that fact and offer another. I don't know who my parents are." He replied simply.

Sophia decided to head out. "Well, In sorry, but I think I'm going to leave. Anything you guys want?" she joked.

Laurel only snickered at her joke, as if she truly cared. She waited anxiously until she left and sat down as soon as she did as she was still unsteady on her feet.

Razeth chuckled and asked, "Ryker's head on a platter, is that too much? "

Laurel eyes closed suddenly as Razeth's words drew her back into a memory. Her breath faltered with its return, and Laurel's eyes flew open in attempt to leave the memory behind, but she could not shake the tremendous feeling of fear it had left her with. The sudden paleness of her skin remained evident as the image was seen even as her eyes were open. The horror of the memory passing to any who looked into her fear-filled eyes without having experienced it.
